Lindsay Lohan Released From Jail, Heads to Rehab

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman -- sort of.

The actress was released from jail after serving 13 full days of her 90-day sentence for violating her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI. Lohan was freed early due to good behavior and overcrowding at the jail.

After leaving the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, the 'Mean Girls' star reported to rehab to fulfill the second requirement of her sentence -- that she spend 90 days in a full-time rehabilitation facility.

"She was released at 1:35AM. She has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center. And she will now be under the supervision of the LA County probation department. This concludes her custody," Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said, according to PEOPLE.

Lohan was originally set to enter Morningside Recovery, but over the weekend, Judge Marsha Revel changed her mind, opting to allow Lohan to seek treatment at UCLA Medical Center, TMZ reports.

"There was concern that [Morningside Recovery] was not a secure enough facility," the district attorney's office told PEOPLE.

Lohan will spend 90 days in rehab. After that, she will be on probation until August 2011.

Her legal woes began in June 2007, when she was taken into custody for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession. Just a month earlier, she was arrested on another DUI charge.

Following her first DUI, Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving.

Sure she could behave for 13 days in jail, but 90 days in rehab, she will lose it sometime, and if she does, she could go back to jail to finish her 90 day sentence. Hope she does, she needs to serve more time in jail. She will learn nothing from this. Loser.

Ive been drinking alot lately don't have a lob any more but I think i can see mexico from my house i see all those illegal little kritters every were i look ok enough said ;Back to World
News Lindsay has & addiction problem not a criminal problem
she is sick & going thru a personal hell. True she has some money & was lucky enough to go to a hospital & try to get some much needed Help If everyone could open there eyes & see this
is a wide spread problem. Thank God this made world news.

I am quite sure that she has learned her lesson, because if she keeps doing the same things, NEXT TIME MAYBE THEY WILL DOUBLE HER SENTENCE AND SHE WILL SEND ALMOST A MONTH IN JAIL!!!!! Lets see,,,,, break the law, spend 13 days in jail.... huh? why not? WHAT IS THE WORST THAT CAN HAPPEN???? Plus,, if she doesn't stick some crap up her nose for a week or so, she will most likely be honored at some L.A. funtion... Man!! Life is hard!!!!

Have you ever thought that maybe it is not hate directed towards her as a person rather to her because she gets let off so easy and shows no want to change? I mean possession of cocaine of any amount last I checked was not a misdemeanor but at least a 3rd degree felony punishable up to 5 years in for each count. Violating probation makes it mandatory to serve that time originally sentenced 2 counts of DUI is enough to have your license revoked. Think on those things and maybe you can understand...maybe...maybe not

Pages and pages of Li.Lo. and a few paragraphs about the soldiers that give their lives so that people can print those pages and pages of crap....somewhat of an imbalance I'd say.

What will she get if she does it again? Give us a break, the laws are broken into two parts, one for the rich bastards and one for the numb nuts. This is Obama justice.

For all of you thinking she preffered the first place, it was actually the judge who liked it better. Get your facts straight if you feel the need to put everyone down. Atleast now she's getting better so good for her. It kills me how negative some of you can be. If you feel the need to make fun of someone else you might want to check yourself out also. Start worrying about your own lives before you go freaking out over someone such as Lindsay.
