Lindsay Lohan Released From Jail, Heads to Rehab

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman -- sort of.
The actress was released from jail after serving 13 full days of her 90-day sentence for violating her probation stemming from a 2007 DUI. Lohan was freed early due to good behavior and overcrowding at the jail.
After leaving the Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, the 'Mean Girls' star reported to rehab to fulfill the second requirement of her sentence -- that she spend 90 days in a full-time rehabilitation facility.
"She was released at 1:35AM. She has been sent directly to her next destination, which is a treatment center. And she will now be under the supervision of the LA County probation department. This concludes her custody," Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore said, according to
PEOPLE.
Lohan was originally set to enter Morningside Recovery, but over the weekend, Judge Marsha Revel changed her mind, opting to allow Lohan to seek treatment at UCLA Medical Center,
TMZ reports.
"There was concern that [Morningside Recovery] was not a secure enough facility," the district attorney's office told PEOPLE.
Lohan will spend 90 days in rehab. After that, she will be on probation until August 2011.
Her legal woes began in June 2007, when she was taken into custody for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession. Just a month earlier, she was arrested on another DUI charge.
Following her first DUI, Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving.

yes this does show how the rich and famous are treated differently in this country. A spoiled brat that tells the courts to F+++ off on national tv is allowed out of a 90 day sentence after 13? If that was a nobody the judge would have thrown the book at them and they would be in prison for years.

I am sure she learned nothing from her time in lockup. The rehab might do her some good. Best rehab she could get would be spend the whole 90 day sentence in lockup.Being rich has it privlidges.

I'm glad Lindsey Lohan is out. I hope her the best. She is a human life.

So, you are glad she's out?
Now she can drive drunk again, and perhaps kill some very innocent person.
Lindsey, grow up! You were an adorable child, but a drunk is not cute. Driving drunk is even less attractive! Take responsibility for yourself, quit boozing, and leave your lips alone for God's sake! you look like a blowfish.

I really don't care about Lindsay Lohan. She got special treatment. If an ordinary person did what she did, they would have been put in jail for the full 90 days or more. If she does get in more trouble and I am sure she will, I guarantee nothing will happen to her. I just hope she doesn't end up dead.

Must be nice to be rich and famous, except I still haven't figured out what she is famous for.

My 21-year-old son said it well yesterday. "How many 20 year olds lost their lives this past week fighting for our country? Do you hear them being talked about in the news? I'm sick of hearing about Lindsay Lohan." I was proud of my son.

WHAT?? She could be a "great" actress??? ARE you freaking KIDDING me? I guess there ARE people MORE deluded than her on the planet! She is a spoiled ,self indulgent waste of time and space. Give me a BREAK!

She did not even get a taste of being in jail. Yes 90 days was harsh..however she could of served at least 30 days of the sentence. Happy the judge changed her rehab facility..she will get better treatment at UCLA Medial Center...and just maybe she will stay clean when she gets out. Just don't let her out until the 90 days is up!

You are so right! These are the young men and women who have meaning in their lives and we should hold them up as HEROS instead of highlighting some bimbo whose life has has been nothing in the scheme of things. Has she ever done anything for anyone else except herself?
Vegas line is 2-1 she ain't gonna make it ... will be back in jail before the end of her probation in Aug '11 .. .....

What a waste of time! The paperwork took longer than the jail time did. Her parents should be in the cell with her. She is nothing but a trashy spoiled brat.
Everyone knows HER name, but who can name one soldier killed fighting for our country. Yet we can't understand how we got in this mess. There is no honor, responsibility, morals or sence of pride in anything anymore.
Get a life people and pay attention to something that matters, not this waste of flesh.

By whose authority does she get out and how did they get their job? How much were they paid? It's all about money: no morals involved. This country is going to hell in a Hollywood handbasket.

Mike is right. If it were anyone else they would be serving years. But I don't know, I'm from a differant state. Here you just get put on the floor. From everything she has done tho she should have gotten years. She stole a car and ran over someone with it and when the cops pulled her over she said "The black guy did it."
