After a scant 13 days behind bars, Lindsay Lohan was released from Century Regional Detention Facility in Lynwood, California, in the early hours of the morning and transported directly to UCLA Medical Center. Her time in jail went by in a flash, but to get truly sober Lindsay's going to have to work for it, and more importantly, stay away from the bad influences that led her to this crossroads.Lindsay and her family wanted the star to serve her court-ordered three months rehabbing at the plush Morningside Recovery facility in Orange County; however, the judge thought this was a bad decision and worried that this facility wasn't serious enough (ie. that drugs could be easily passed to Lindsay there). Therefore, the locale was switched to reliably secure UCLA Medical Center.
"Lindsay is still so vulnerable after only 13 days away from her crazy life," a friend of the actress tells me. "Now, she will have three months to learn the skills she must learn if she has any chance of recovery. It's a super intense program where day after day after day, for the next three months, she eats, breaths and sleeps a life without drugs."

Oh, please! This is her upteenth time in Rehab ... she needs to take a lesson from Robert Downey before she ends up dead.

she should have been in jail at least 6 months and then very strict rehab for at least 6 more and then she would be out of drugs..less than is not gonna work
Until Lindsay is 'scared straight', like nearly losing her life, she will continue. Why? Lindsay is not ready to change.
Also, her mother must quit enabling her. She needs to get a job outside show business and stop her dependency on Lindsay's money.
Her dad, who I do think has changed over the last year or so seems to hold Lindsay's best interest, but Lindsay is so far gone she cannot see that.
I hope that this 3 month stay in rehab may do the trick, but AGAIN IT IS UP TO LINDSAY.
I totally agree with you. It is amazing how these so called famous people can do so little jail time when we regular people would have to serve the full sentence, that's what money can do for them.
At least the judge see that Lindsay's family is not the best influence on her either. I like how she kept Lindsay away from them between jail and rehab.
I totally agree! Lindsay still doesn't think she is doing anything wrong and until she realizes it and her mother realizes it she may just kill herself and then Lindsays mom will push her sister down the same path!
I some one was left out of jail because of over crowding it should have been some one that was in for awhile.
I guess the judge is the 1 holding up the f u finger this time. The judge had no control of her getting out of jail but she did have control after she got out.So the judge got to say f u to Lindsay as best she could. And the judge will still have more shots at Lindsay she still has a year of probation with drug and booze tests,She will be going down again. And lord knows she knows how to go down!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow, 13 days behind bars! Do you think she has learned her lesson? Hmmmmmm... I doubt it. If the rehab doesn't help her she may one day, soon, be a headline with the word "overdose" in it.
None of it matters until she admits that she has a problem to begin with.... then get away from her golddigging mother!
It's not fair that Lindsay got out of jail to go to rehab! Why the special treatment? Let her stay in jail like any other normal person would have, then maybe she will realize her mistakes! I'am tired of celebs getting speacial treatment!! You do the crime you serve the time!!

You are so correct. Bothe of my parents were killed in auto accidents by a drunk driver. Lindsay should attend a funeral of someone killed by a drunk driver. I am sick to death or Rehab, Rehab to get out of taking responsibility for one's actions.
Funeral, go work in the M.E. office for a couple of shifts.
No way will I stick up for this spoiled brat, but in all fairness, her crime was not so serious that jail time was called for in the first place. Take a look at police blotters and see-- many get off with fines or probation for the same charges, But the judge was smart enough to see she really needed it! The shock value seemed to do Paris some good, but Lindsey is more sick than criminal, don't you think?
Teresa: I won't stick up for Lindsay, but in all fairness, many people convicted of the same charge don't get ANY jail time! This judge had enough smarts to see she needed some, but has no control over how long they kept her. Jail seemed to shock Paris, but she wasn't "sick" like Lindsay is, so maybe rehab WILL do her some good.
While I can't stand this sniveling snot I will say that if you haven't actually BEEN to rehab then you can't know what it's like. It IS a jail - like atmosphere. Whether she's in jail or rehab she isn't going to learn her lesson. I am sure the rehab they send her to is nothing like the one I spent time in (clean and sober for 10 years now) but until she gets away from Brittney and Paris then forget about it. She's a lost cause, a phony lost cause
Good luck to Lindsay. She WAS an amazing actress for so many years of her young life. If she wants to do this she can - but so much will be up to her no matter what friends or family members she choses to keep around her!

I totally agree with you Lisa but I say she is still a talented actress. I have admired her work ever since her role in Parent Trap and all the movies she appeared in since. I am a grandmother with four grandchildren and my heart aches every time I read how other young celebreties treat her. She needs someone to step up, like Kim Kardashian, to help this troubled actress. She needs a friend that really cares for her best interest and not be a hanger on and take advantage of her celebrity status.
She's a train wreck, who cares what she does or does it with
Lindsay is still young enough to pull herself back together. She has to be the one to do it and want it badly enough. Let's all hope for the best for this very talented young lady. If Robert Downey Jr. can do it, so can she. Have a great day everyone.
