Gisele Bundchen Says Breastfeeding Should Be Mandatory

New mom Gisele Bundchen thinks she knows best when it comes to feeding your child.

"I think breastfeeding really helped. Some people here think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think, 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child, when they are so little?'" she tells Harper's Bazaar UK, The Daily Mail reports.

"There should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months," she adds.

Bundchen gave birth to her first child, Benjamin, with husband Tom Brady seven months ago.

Gisele also discussed her home birth, saying, "Not for one second did it cross my mind that I was not going to have my baby at home."

"I am not the first person to give birth naturally. Billions of other women have come before me and have done this -- so why can't I do it?" she continued.

She seems so rude, pompous, arrogant!!! She is dumb, "natural" childbirth is done by probably millions of women daily, having a baby at home isn't any more natural than vaginal birth at a hospital!! I believe in another article she states how she had her son at home with no pain medicine, just meditated in a bathtub, and was critical of Woman who needed pain medication for birth. Self-Righteous Moron. Didn't she once date a "guy" who had a baby on the way with a Hollywood actress?

Nevermind all the moms and babies that DIED all those generations ago because they didn't have proper medical care. Or nevermind all those moms that CAN'T breastfeed. Nope. They don't matter because Giselle knows best!

Birthing and caring for a child is a personal choice that the PARENTS make. The govt nor anyone else has any business telling anyone how to care for their child. Unless the child is being abused or neglected, or the choice the parent is making is harmful to the babied health, then butt out!

well i am a mother of three and was not able to breastfeed any of my children even though i wanted too, and had to switch formulas several times to find something my children could keep down.so alot of times it is not up to the mother either.

EXACTLY!!! I had 2 kids, both that I wanted to breastfeed, but my milk did not have enough nutrients to sustain a growing baby. I'd have had them on the tit 24/7 if I'd continued to try, and they still would have been undernourished...So, as much as some women WANT to, some just are not able to, and shouldn't be punished, slighted, or made to feel like they are less of a mother because they can't breastfeed

Of course Norma, because you have to have more than one child to know anything about parenting or giving birth or feeding your child. Puhleez get off your soap box. This is her opinion and a lot of people share that opinion they just don't have the balls to say it.
