Julia Roberts: Just Say No to Botox

Mega movie star Julia Roberts is never going to get Botox--she'd prefer to see how she'll age. "I want my kids to know when I'm pissed, when I'm happy and when I'm confounded," the 'Pretty Woman' tells Elle Magazine for its September issue. "Your face tells a story and it shouldn't be a story about your drive to the doctor's office."

The star of the upcoming flick, 'Eat Pray Love,' also talks to the magazine about family life with her husband, cameraman Danny Moder, and three kids, 3-year-old Henry and 5-year-old twins Phinnaeus and Hazel. PEOPLE has a sneak peek at the revealing interview.

Excerpts after the jump.

On society's view of aging:
"It's unfortunate that we live in such a panicked, dysmorphic society where women don't even give themselves a chance to see what they'll look like as older persons. I want to have some idea of what I'll look like before I start cleaning the slates."

On her kids:
"You make these people and you love them and you want them around for a thousand years. And you want to be there for them for a thousand years."

On religion:
"I'm definitely a practicing Hindu."

On reincarnation:
"Golly, I've been so spoiled with my friends and family in this life. Next time I want to be just something quiet and supporting."

Good for Julia. I just wish there were more stars of her caliber who would rely on natural process of life rather than horrible plastic surgery or botox.

Julia: love you but you are full of crap. When the first sign of sagging anything in your face appears, you will fix it. Maybe not Botox, but let's face it, mucho other stuff.

you're not going to stop getting old. botox, nor anything else, halts the process. you still look like your aging, all while putting forth an air of desperate. spend your money on a nice relaxing vacation, flattering clothes, and a pretty shade of lipstick. one can always tell when your face, lips, eyes, etc. have been pumped up to pitiful. honestly, not an attractive look. and again, you still look as old as you are. you simply can't change the obvious.

Julia is smart. Its best to let mother nature take its toll.
Too many woman think too much about their looks. We all get old if were lucky, its part of the plan. There so much more to life, than trying to look younger for the men.

I don't think she's had anything, you can tell she is looking older and that is ok, I hope she doesn't pull up her eyes like half of hollywood they all look freakish, just age naturally, we'll see what she does by the time she's 50.
