Sean Penn and Robin Wright's Divorce Is Done

The long, twisted saga of Sean Penn and Robin Wright's divorce is finally, truly, we're-serious-you-guys over. For real. PEOPLE is reporting that the former couple have reached a private agreement on all the particulars involved in such a divorce (child and spousal support, split of assets, child support).

Penn and Wright have been officially single single since court papers were filed July 22 in Marin County, California.

They first filed for divorce back in 2007, but reconciled months later. Then, last April, the Oscar-winning actor asked for a legal separation in court, but retracted his bid in May. Three months later, Wright called it quits again and filed for divorce.

The pair began dating in the early 1990s, shortly after his marriage to Madonna fell apart. They had a daughter, Dylan, in 1991 and a son, Hopper, in 1993. They tied the knot in 1996.

In an interview with More magazine last August, the 'Princess Bride' star sounded sure about her decision to split from Penn.

"I hit that crossroad a while ago," Wright Penn says. "I know what I don't want."

Penn is reportedly dating 26-year-old model Jessica White.

It is sad to hear when any couple that has been married for a long time splits. Sean Penn, is not only an amazing actor but also an amazing Human Rights Activist. He also donates much of his money and time to charities, I admire someone who does good deeds with their fame!!!!!!!

Seems I read/heard they tried a couple times to make their marriage work but for whatever reason, they couldn't so good for her and I have never cared for him or his work in the movies.
