Emma Watson Channels Mia Farrow With New Haircut

With the 'Harry Potter' franchise coming to an end, Emma Watson is ready to take some risks ... starting with her hair.

Debuting a pixie cut on her Facebook page on Thursday, Watson posted, "Dear all. Cut my hair off a few days ago... Feels incredible. I love it. I've wanted to do this for years and years; it's the most liberating thing ever. Hope you like. Big love from Emma x."

Watson's new cut is a drastic change from the style she's worn for years as Hermoine Granger in the 'Potter' series. At first glance, it appears that Watson is paying homage to Mia Farrow, who sported a similarly boyish crop in the '60s. Placed side-by-side, the two are almost indistinguishable.

Watson is in New York City promoting 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1,' which opens November 19.

Not very many women can pull that look off but she clearly does. Not to mention the fact that she resembles Mia a lot (not just in hair).

Agreed! She looks great! She has the face and shape for it. If they were doing a Mia story she could cover the early years. She looks so much like her. Next thing you know she'll be married to an old man and hanging with his rat pack.

I agree, not many women can pull off that look! She does it well. Also, she does resemble Mia in more than just eyes and eyelashes! This cut also makes her look older and sexier!

Well, I'll be kind and just say it's her hair, and if she likes it great. It doesn't look too bad FOR that type of cut. But I do think she looks much better with the long hair.

I'm not one for short hair on women, but I must say - she looks PHENOMENAL!!! She's known for being a bit of a fashion icon for her generation, and I've no doubt that girls are going to be chopping off their locks in droves to follow suit. (Please, girls: make *sure* this is what you want BEFORE you do it. Not everyone looks this great with this cut, and it will take forever to grow it back!)

Yeah, she looks OK 'cause her face is so pretty, but I liked her look more before. My hair is longer than that and I am a guy! Please girls, don't do it! On Stylelist Miley Cyrus was winning with her long locks with extentions even! Long hair on women is sexy!

If that type haircut looked good on me, I'd be doing it in a split second! But, with a fat face and big neck, I'd look like a defensive tackle...lol! Very pretty, Emma!

I think she looks great! It really brings out her eyes and eyelashes. I think she's very pretty and i like that she's not in the tabs for trashy stuff all the time. That says a lot about a person, in my opinion.

She has a beautiful face but this kind of haircut is really not flattering to anyone.I hope she grows her hair back,and stays away from the blond dies.She is much prettier as a red head or a brunette.

I think Emma is more pretty than Mia and they don't really look alike to me. Not really her best do either. I'll bet Emma will be buying the extentions soon.

Sorry, I'm just not feeling it. In my opinion it's too short and I don't think I like her with blond hair either.
