Eminem and Rihanna's monster hit 'Love the Way You Lie,' which currently sits atop the Billboard charts, now has a star-studded video, with Megan Fox and Dominic Monaghan ('Lost') playing a dysfunctional couple whose contentious romance turns combustible with the flick of a switch -- or rather a match. Rihanna, who's no stranger to issues of domestic violence, recently told Access Hollywood that she can relate to the song: "It's something that, you know, [Eminem and I have] both experienced ... On different sides, different ends of the table." See the clip [foul language warning]:

REALLY?? HAVE YOU HEARD THE NEW ALBUM? IT SOUNDS VERY DIFFERENT FROM HIS OLDER STUFF. RESEARCH BEFORE OPENING YOUR MOUTH
Not a big fan of Eminem but i loved this song especially since Rhianna is part of it. Sounds different from Eminem's songs which do sound a lot alike
Eminem looks like he just got shot in the balls in that picture up there. xDDD. But the song is GREAT and the music video was put together really well. I've loved his music since Eminem first started.

Just some more annoying media garbage from the pits of hell to numb young people and twist their mind some more.

SEEMS LIKE YOU'VE TAKEN ONE TOO MANY HOG RIDES IN YOUR LIFETIME
really,i thought it was the parents who raised their kids not a rapper.i know i do.
If you don't think some people see their reality in there, it's probably you that need to get a clue.
This is what you call new material than let me bit my tongue and hold my breath because I'm dieing here lol. Rihanna music has alway manage to stay in an disfunctional lifesytle stating this I will say that the video is well put together and Eminen can relate to this good recovery to you both

Making money by showing kids violence and make-up-sex because you "love someone too much", and then set them on fire because you are upset, Way To Go. Kids will watch this because it has Rianna and Enema in it. Of course if they can't afford to see the video all they have to do is watch it on AOL. All for money..

I am surprised with Rihanna's past history with domestic violence with Chris Brown, she would lend voice to this video. The song has a wonderful beat and music, but the words are violent and scary in this day and time.
first off this is a great song and a great video. and if you really listen to the words you would know its about the dynamics of an abusive relationship. and how there is a push and a pull factor..meaning that you want to leave but they promise they would never do it again so you stay. and because you love them you believe them.

Exactly! They aren't advocating violence, they're venting what they went through! Music is therapeutic. This not only helps them heal (I'm sure) but also the thousands of listeners (myself included) who have been in those shoes and understand the psychological mindf*ck that it can be. Nobody is saying that this is the way relationships should be. But for those who have been there, it is enormously helpful to get a voice and to know we're not alone.
Kudos to them for such a powerful song and video!!
This vid sucks....

I wondering if anyone notice that the women in the video seen the phone number on his hand and started hitting and hitting him she even spit on him. Also did you watch him trying to stop her from hitting him and then she started hitting him again until he got angry. We seems like the women is the abusier yes she hit him first and he tried his best to stop her. Rihanna must of did the same thing in the car that night. Someone driving and being hit that's something. In this video is she trying to tell us something. Is this how it really was, she hit him first

The point of this video is not to advoacate domestic violence nor say that it is normal in any way. It is displaying the cycle of an abusive relationship. You get into an argument, then there's a fight, then the abusing spouse makes some sweet gesture to apologize and make up for their actions, then you make up, then the cycle begins all over again. THAT'S HOW AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP WORKS. I'm sure that Rihanna and Eminem did not make this video when then intent of saying that domestic violence is normal and acceptable. If anything, considering their own domestic violence histories, thay are displaying just how f*ucked up the cycle of abuse is.

I feel strongly for this video and song. The song just reminds me how love is not easy and how people can get so caught up in the world of love. Yes, it can be beautiful and all, but love also has that dark side of emotional feelings of obsession and all. Emotional in the sense that you are so dedicated to this cycle of love that any betrayal or distrust is a horrific feeling of despair. Once you feel that you have lost this person some people feel that it is the end of the world and feel that they will do anything just to save the cylce of love; however, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, so its either you get caught up in it or just get out safely.
