Lea Michele Shows Dramatic Weight Loss

We've seen pressures of Hollywood impact the frames of countless young celebrities from Nicole Richie to Lindsay Lohan. Does Lea Michele's thin new look hint she's feeling them too?

'Glee' star Michele hit the red carpet of the Fox All Star Party this past weekend, showing off a much smaller, thinner frame. 'Glee' has exploded out of the gate, and we're sure that has certainly turned up the temperature of the bright spotlight shining in Michele's face. During her show's off-season, she's been spotted on red carpet after red carpet, progressively getting tinier and tinier. Look at the photos above. On the left, she's seen at an event last August. On the right, she appears just days ago.

She told OK! Magazine earlier this year that her dramatic weight loss is due to her vegan diet.

"I'm a vegan," she said. "It makes me feel really good and bright. You need a lot of energy to play spunky Rachel Berry, so I've tried a lot of different things -- and so far, this is working."

what's pathetic is that 'popeater' searches for the worst possible photo of her (her chin pressed into her chest and a baggy, casual shirt) and then puts it next to a photo taken from 2 feet above. The whole article smacks of pandering and muck raking.

I agree as well...I thought the exact same thing when I saw the photos. "Could they have found a more unflattering picture?" I doubt it. and there's TONS of beautiful pics out there of Lea Michelle.

chris you are spot on. A flannel versus strapless? Being a red blooded male I loved seeing her as is in those deliciously nerdy outfits. She WAS healthy and already looked phenomenal this past season. Less of Lea Michele will NEVER be a good thing!

Any fat person can have a double chin when laughing. Unless you're one of those people without a chin, then your chin runs into your neck no matter what you do. Sounds like you may be a bit on the chubby side and looking for an excuse. Yes, I'm expecting some sort of rant in response.

i agree, where did you get a pic of her in that stupid shirt, was she painting the house or something, and the angle so she has the double chins is horrible. She is a cute girl, I never thought she needed to lose weight, but leave it to the press to punish someone who weighs more than 100 pounds.

I think she was shapely and sexy....maybe a loss of 10 to 12 might have been ok... but some pic's i have seen she is starting to look too thin a little gaunt.. still a great voice and a lovely girl.....

um no, the one on the left has been photoshopped. Lea Michele pre-Glee was about the same size as she is now. Watch Spring Awakening if you don't believe me.

She wasn't fat to begin with. Its a shame all the beautiful actresses are under so much pressure to look so thin and gaunt. I agree with other postings, there are much better photos of her out there than these two.

She wasn't fat before but she wasn't thin either. Instead of looking at her chin I prefer the pencil test. The pencil test will check for being overweight and out of condition. The rear sags even when thin, if you can hold a pencil in the crease of your rear, your either overweight or not in very good shape. The ideal look is a slight crease on the inside half of the rear, the outside half should just have the flowing curve. Yes, men should be in shape also, you will need a woman to write what they want, each one seems to be different.
