Laurence Fishburne's Daughter on Porn Film: 'I Hope He'll Be Proud'
Montana Fishburne, the 19-year-old daughter of 'CSI' and 'The Matrix' star Laurence Fishburne, hopes her dad isn't too devastated by the release of her adult video, and that maybe he'll even be proud of her.
"I hope it's not hurting him. It wasn't done to hurt him," Montana tells
PEOPLE. "But I think it will take time and talking through the issues. Eventually, I hope he will be proud of me."
Montana filmed the video, under the alias Chippy D, before telling her family, so they couldn't try to talk her out of it. "Being in an adult film is not a big deal to me," Montana says. "It's something I always wanted to do. I have always been comfortable in my body and with my sexuality."
Montana used the interview to clarify earlier statements that she had been inspired by
Kim Kardashian's rise to fame after a sex tape leaked. "I am not in porn to get into acting. I am in porn because I wanted to be in porn," Fishburne says.
Laurence Fishburne reportedly reacted with "stunned silence" when he heard the news. "I hear through relatives that he's upset, but I haven't talked to him directly for him to tell me his feelings," Montana says.
She moved out of her family's home at 18, "so I could pursue what I want to do without being constrained by them."

Is she on drugs? What makes her think doing porn would get her a career? I'm sure all she had to say was I'm Laurence Fishburne's daughter and she could have had a legitimate acting career(like most actor's kids). What father in their right mind would be proud of what she's doing? There's something wrong with this girl.

listen any normal thinking father would be upset if his daughter turned out to be a ptostitute. when you are young you tend to do stupid things. but most people dont get this stupid. most porn participants are impaired. they all deny it,but ask one for a blood sample while they are filming a movie and the answer is no. most of the male and female prostitutes claim they aren't prostitutes but i looked it up and if you are paid for sex you are by definition a prostitute. this is not acting,it is simply doing what people are inhertently blessed with,just out of control.

What a mess, what is this 19yr old thinking life is about? (porn). I hate to see youngsters who have everything in life a poor youngster dreams of and make stupid choices. She could have waited untill she learned more about life, got more experience in life before making any kind of choices, (especially this one). This is about the worst thing I've ever heard about the child of a celebrity doing. The absolute worst. Rob a bank? OK. Sniff and snort drugs, be carted off to a rehab? OK. Get knocked up/have kids with various babydaddys? OK. But this is really jacked up. There is something very wrong here, either with the daughter or the family dynamic. Very, very wrong. Normal people don't do this. Someday no doubt we'll find out what set it off. I feel very sorry for all involved.

How sad for this young woman to think that making porn movies is a good career choice. What kind of drugs is she on to think her parents might be proud of her. I am sure she had many opportunities in life and now she is squandering whatever legitimate career path she may have in the future. As a parent of two fine young people in their 20's I would be mortified if either my son or daughter chose this as a career path. I hope she gets good health care as AIDS and STD's remain rampant.

This is so heart breaking, Mr Fishburne is a wonderful man and has had a very succesful career, I like the man , he does not deserve this from his 19 year old daughter she still a kid who does not know what she wants to do in life whether she says she does or not, there is so much out there to explore, I just wanted to say I am sorry Mr Fishburne has to go through this he doesn't deserve this how can a 19 year old daughter of someone like this man do this to her dad I don't understand, I bet he has always been there for you, why not show him some respect.
