'24' Actress Annie Wersching Welcomes a Baby Boy

Annie Wersching gave birth to her first child with husband Stephen Full on Sunday in Los Angeles. The newborn son, Freddie Wersching Full, weighs 7 lbs., 15 oz., and is 18 inches long, PEOPLE reports.

"He has a full head of hair and is very calm and sweet and adorable," Wersching told PEOPLE. "We are all feeling great!"

Wersching married Full, an actor and comedian, at their Los Angeles home in September 2009.

She is best known for her role as FBI special agent Renee Walker, opposite Kiefer Sutherland on the television series '24.'

Wersching began her acting career with a guest appearance on the show 'Star Trek: Enterprise' and had guest starring roles on 'Charmed,' 'Supernatural' and 'Cold Case.'

congrats to the happy new parents. though it isn't exactly new for a mother to give her child first or last her last name as their middle. even oscar winning actress Patricia Neal did back in 1965 with her youngest daughter Lucy. granted Lucy was a miracle on a bigger scale because Pat had had a series of strokes while she was pregnant that could've killed both her and Lucy but with the grace of god she fought back and Lucy arrived perfectly healthy in August 1965.

not that Annie will ever be as big a star as Ms Neal was. a career spanning 63 years on stage film and television and nominated for or won Many awards including an oscar for Hud in 1964.
