Kate Gosselin to Appear at the Emmys

No she's not up for any awards, but Kate Gosselin will be seen at the Emmys on August 29, E! Online reports.

There isn't an exact word on what the mother of eight will be doing, but one thing is for sure, she won't be presenting on stage

However, she's rumored to be a part of Jimmy Fallon's opening act and will be hobnobbing with some of television's biggest celebrities.

Currently, Gosselin stars on the TLC special 'Kate Plus 8,' and will soon have her own series, 'Twist of Kate.'

I usually catch the Emmys and I like Jimmy Fallon but I won't watch anything with Gosselin on it.This show used to be about real stars with real talent. Why cheapen it with some low budget reality show soccer mom?

I can't believe she still gets calls to go on tv. I planned to watch the emmy's and now the thought of it makes me sick. Lots of people have multiples so why is she so special. She made me sick for the way she treated her husband and yet he is the one taking all the heat. ATTENTION POWERS THAT BE Stop putting her on television. Hey, most of us, including me, can't stomach her, but we're not the ones making bucks off her. It's obvious that she has a huge fanbase, and the folks behind these and other non-scripted TV know that the very mention of Kate Gosselin means ratings. As long as this is the case, she'll keep getting invited.

I hope Fallon rips her a new one during the emmys. One day she will go away and we will never have to see or hear about her again, that day can't some soon enough.

Successful doing what? The people responsible for booking talent for the show can't be that desparate. This is a special night for those who are involved in the television industry. All she does is degrade the entire event.
