Zac Efron Tips Vanessa Hudgens During Striptease

Zac Efron rushed from the wholesome Teen Choice Awards to watch girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens' last performance in 'Rent' at The Hollywood Bowl on Sunday.

But he sure had a different way of showing his loving support.

In the middle of the stage production, Efron got so into Hudgen's sexy striptease, he got up from his seat to "tip" her $20 during her 'Out Tonight' number.

Hudgens, starring as HIV-infected dancer Mimi, grabbed the cash and quickly stuffed it in her to bra.

A few weeks ago, Efron and his 'High School Musical' costar Corbin Bleu went to the Flashdancers Gentlemen's Club in N.Y.C. Sources claimed the group stayed for four hours getting bottle service and lap dances. "They were nice kids. They seemed to have fun," a source told PEOPLE.

"I had this image of what it would be like. I've heard a lot about these places, mostly from rap music. So I envisioned myself on a nice couch, stunna shades, with like T-Pain and Usher, you know, making it rain money," Efron said on Jimmy Kimmel Live. "And it just wasn't like that."

Although reports claimed the group spent $2,000 on dancers, the star says, "No, no, not at all ... I don't remember. I don't think I opened my wallet."

Hate to break it to you but even if she wasn't with him, he'd still be known as "troy" from high school musical. Being in a relationship with your significant other that you met on a disney film has nothing to do with typecasting amigo.

To those who say Vanessa Hudgens is ruining her career - I think she is saving it. She is moving on from some phony Disney-produced movie to a Tony and Puzlier Prize winning musical that spent many years on Broadway. Hopefully after this directors and producers will look at her as a serious musical theatre actress rather than some Disney kids. I am also happy she is in what seems like a serious relationship with another actor who is trying to move on to a more serious career.
