Alanis Morissette Has Some News: 'I Am Pregnant!'

Rock goddess Alanis Morissette is having a baby, her first, with new husband Mario Treadway (aka rapper Souleye), the singer has revealed to Us Magazine.

Morissette, 36, went about making the announcement in a clever way, using the the last entry in a feature titled "25 Things You Don't Know About Me" to say, "I am pregnant!"

No other details, including the 'Ironic' singer's due date, have been revealed.

Morissette and Treadway said their vows in front of family at their home in Los Angeles on May 22. It is the first marriage for the 36-year-old 'Jagged Little Pill' singer and the 30-year-old rapper. They dated for eight months.

"We're very excited to embark on this journey with each other," she said in a statement in early June.

Alanis was previously engaged to actor Ryan Reynolds, who is currently wed to actress Scarlett Johansson.

I saw her in person. She is about 4 ft tall and 3 ft wide. Again she only had a couple decent songs. Hardly a rock star and certainly not a rock goddess. She was just ok. You might say a 2 hit wonder.

I love Jagged Little Pill. I think women can relate to the album more. Yes, her voice can grate on you sometimes, but most times, she sounds great and sings the truth. Congrats to her, I hope everything works out.
