'Glee' Star Lea Michele Loves Her 'Jewish Nose'

Although Lea Michele may be channeling Britney Spears for an upcoming episode of 'Glee,' she says she's never felt pressure to look like the pop princess.

In a recent interview, the brunette beauty credits being raised by an Italian mom and Jewish dad with boosting her body confidence.

"I come from a big Italian family and the pressure is not really anything I've been raised to feel," Michele, 23, says, according to an Us Weekly report.

"I've always been proud of my body, my Jewish nose and all of that. Hollywood's Hollywood, but that's not going to change."

Still, the Broadway-trained star admits she was somewhat surprised to land a role on the hit Fox series. "I never really thought there would be a place on television for me," Michele, who plays spoiled diva Rachel Berry on 'Glee,' told the Daily News last year.

"I have a very specific look. I'm Jewish. I'm Italian."

Growing up, the Bronx-born actress noticed that there weren't many girls on TV who looked like her. But that didn't make Michele any less proud of her appearance -- instead, she drew inspiration from another New York native who started out on the stage and went on to become a movie and music superstar.

"I remember looking up to Barbara Streisand, and thinking, 'Finally, someone who has a Jewish nose, who didn't get a nose job,'" says Michele, who hopes that 'Glee' fans feel the same way whenever they see her on screen.

"If that is inspiring and can give young girls a sense of confidence, that's great."

I saw a more recent pic of her in all white-she has lost way too much weight; she was almost unrecognizable to me. She looks like a bobble head now.

Lea is gorgeous, and I believe she would be the perfect Jewish wife...if I weren't already married. But I hope she is not binging to loose wait for Hollywood. The photos of her in the white dress seem to suggest she's been cutting back on the Apfelstrudel and the Babka. Don't loose all the baby fat, that's what make you look beautiful.

OK, no to her Tattoo. You may have noticed a little tattoo on her left shoulder; it is in the shape of two strategically placed musical notes and eighth note and a quarter note. Nothing special, probably just a symbol of her newly found success on Glee. Congrats!!

Now the mystery of the tattoo. When I said, "strategically," I meant that it is arranged in such a way to make it look similar to the Hebrew letter that symbolizes the aleph. The aleph kind of sort of looks like an N, but not phonetically the same. In fact, it's called the, "silent" letter.

The aleph has many meanings, and most importantly duality. It can mean the human realm, and divine realm and or mysterious underworld; that is, being of both realms simultaneously. In Hollywood, that is significant. And now knowing her background a little bit better, it really starts to make a bit of sense.

I only hope she has not gotten this due to the peer pressure and the Hellywood agenda, by making a packed with the devilwood execs in trade for success. Her apparent weight loss may be a part of the contract that many have fallen victim to.

OK, maybe I'm reading too much into the tattoo. Maybe it's just coincidental and it's just merely a meaningless symbol of musical notes with have absolutely no double meaning what-so-ever. At least, lets hope so.

Now, lets talk about the blue tattoo on her right foot.
