As Wyclef Jean's campaign for the Haitian presidency continues, his track record as a public advocate for his native country will be carefully scrutinized: Were the accounting and tax issues reported for his Yelé charity truly honest mistakes, as Jean claimed, or something more nefarious? Has his celebrity-philanthropist status been a boon or a hindrance to others working for Haiti? Does he truly understand the country's complicated internal politics? And while those are all questions that surely should be asked and answered, there's another angle to Wyclef's campaign the editors at Vulture fear will not be addressed. And that's why they've decided to address it themselves. So, what can we ascertain about Wyclef's qualifications to run a country through the sounds and visuals of his music videography?

So it's not possible that he really just wants to try to help his home country? Arnie didn't have to run for Calif. Governor either, but is trying his damnest there!
I hope he does what he says he's going to do, it can't be any worse than what is happening to them right now. What happeneed ot the millions that were sent to haiti and all the Hollywood set rushing in to help, these people are living in white plastic tents and they are worried aobut what will happen when they wear out. They need well built homes and jobs just like everyone else, this is not going to happen under the UNs watch. Money that goes through the UN never seems to reach its destination. I'm sure wyclif wants to help his people, he is from Haiti, and he knows he will be under scrutiny but he can't be any worse then what they have now. If you want to scrutinize money laundering take a look a the UN, do they ever have to account to anyone? NO they do not.

If obama cant destroy this country in 4 yrs what can this guy possibly do to haiti, ofcourse there is still 2 more yrs til we get this fool out of office but we still have faith that we can survive him.the rest or the world better hope we do anyways

This guy knows absolutely nothing about politcs. At least Obama has an education and some experience. They're gonna let this idiot run Haiti right into the ground. What are they thinking? He doesn't know anything about politics or economics. When will people learn that celebrities belong in Hollywood not offices. This just makes me angry. What happened to having qualiications to rule a country?
