David Hasselhoff "Kicked" Off His 'America's Got Talent' Spot? It's All Part of the Roast

The Hoff takes a night of knocks during 'The Comedy Central Roast of David Hasselhoff.' But one doozy is a rapid-fire video-roasting by the 'America's Got Talent' judges which mocks him for getting "kicked" off the NBC show. Hasselhoff's replacement as a judge on 'AGT' by Howie Mandel this season was never fully explained. Both a representative from NBC and Hasselhoff's pr person insist to PopEater that the roast segment implying the Hoff was kicked off was just a joke.

While Piers Morgan and Sharon Osbourne did not attend the roast in person, their video message had more than enough zingers -- including over Hasselhoff's departure from 'AGT' after last season.

"It's important, really important that you understand, we're not the one who kicked you off this show," Sharon Osbourne laughs during her segment. A laughing Piers Morgan adds: "It was very much a group decision, David, involving the producer, the network."

"And millions of text messages," says Osbourne.

"Let's be honest it was our initial concept," says Morgan.

"But it all kind of ran away from itself," says Osbourne.

Hasselhoff's rep insists that the Hoff left to pursue his own reality show. But it was a pretty cushy gig on 'AGT' and the section of the roast, which airs on Sunday on Comedy Central, is pretty brutal.

As Hasselhoff laughs off the knocks from his former colleagues on the stage, Morgan and Osbourne continue their recorded video assault. Morgan apologizes for not being able to attend the roast in person.

"Sorry we cannot be there with you," he says. "But we still have jobs."

He points out that 'AGT' has only improved since Hasselhoff left.

"Let's not play the blame game," says Morgan. "It's not your fault that we're doing so much better without you."

Now that's a roast!

He was fun, while it lasted. Good luck to him and his detox program. In the meantime I enjoy the show but would definitely like to be under the desk, in front of Sharon. She'd forget Ozzie's name in no time!!!

Not to be rude but, WHO WATCHES THAT SHOW ANYWAY? It is such a waste of air time. If now for Sharon they would have nothing and it's still borderline. I'd rather watch old re-runs of anything than that stupid show.
