Neil Patrick Harris 'Thrilled' to Welcome Twins

Neil Patrick Harris and his longtime partner David Burtka will have their hands full later this year. The actor confirmed the pair are expecting twins.

"So, get this: David and I are expecting twins this fall. We're super excited/nervous/thrilled. Hoping the press can respect our privacy..." he wrote on Twitter.

According to E! Online, which was first to report the news, the couple are going to become parents with the help of a surrogate.

This is not the first time there's been speculation about Harris' pending fatherhood. Star Magazine reported last year that Burtka and Harris had visited a surrogacy agency in L.A. to get the ball rolling on expanding their family.

They've been together for about six years.

Ya know, it's probably not reasonable or rational, but I don't have much of a problem with lesbian couples doing this and raising children with two "moms", but two guys. Blech! It just seems gross.
