Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri can't set foot outside without the peering eyes of the paparazzi hoping to catch a glimpse of the mother-daughter duo and what they're wearing.In the new issue of NY Magazine, Holmes praises her little fashionista, admitting Suri started picking out her own clothing (including her infamous high heels) when she was just 18 months old.
"She picks out all of her own clothes and has since she was 1½," Holmes admits.
Even Holmes' gorgeous Met Gala attire and accessories were hand picked by Suri. "Tom and I went to the Met ball a couple of years ago, and I had this beautiful red gown and these royal-blue shoes that I wasn't planning on wearing, but Suri made me put them on and so I was like, 'Okay, I trust you.'"

Lisa I totaly agree with you. Many college educated teachers are not good teachers. If only they would realize realize this & move on. Can't get rid of bad teachers fast enough.
I'm curious as to how she stays married to a gay man.

Actually, technically, Suri is not being homeschooled. She is being tutored by a professional teacher at home.

"You really have to go with what the child is wanting"??...are you kidding me? Does Holmes even understand what parenting is, or is she just a publicity hog? After all she wanted a "big life"..that kid will turn out to be a spoiled brat

I don't care about the whole kid thing. But, why is it that in the majority of all of the photos of Katie and Tom is she always looking down? Is it because of all of that scientology cray? You know, this is the year 2010, Keep your head up!!!

I do agree that Tom and Katie are basically allowing Suri to grow up thinking the world revolves around her and thats not good. Plus, I do wonder what kids she does interact with? I mean I know that just because we don't see her photographed with others kids doesn't mean she never has playdates or anything like that, but the only pictures we see are with her parents and/or other siblings. Lastly, why does it seem like Suri has no rules? I mean there are reports that she throws tatrums if someone wakes her up before 11am and that she shes a real brat. I actually kind of feel sorry for Suri because she can never really lead a "normal" life.

I see who wears the pants in that family, not Tom or Katie, it's Suri. She probably tells everyone else what to do.

I just don't care anymore about Katie's problems with Tom. I'm fed up with worrying about her everytime I see a dramatic article title on a magazine in the store or on the Internet. I don't like Tom anymore. He was over even when I was sixteen in 1990 but that's my problem alone. Katie obviously loves him, though, and can take care of herself. She's a strong woman not a weak little girl so my suggestion to myself, and others is that we all stop altogether giving attention to her regarding this marriage no matter what the press delivers about it.
