Actually, he`s the only one that has shown even the slightest hint on sanity or intelligence lately. At least he admits he`s partly to blame for effing his kid up.
I would be so ashamed to have parents like this. It almost makes me feel sorry for lindsey, but no, shes old enough to know better. Dina is the worst in my opinion. The woman was on something, or drunk during the interview. Making excuse after excuse for lindsey. Thats one of the worst things a parent can do. It never helps anyone.
It is funny to me that michael said dina was lying. I would believe prison guy over dina any day. He seems more honest.

for once her dad is right. im sorry but i felt dina was being stupid and arrogant. she needs to admit her mistakes and her failure as a mother! linds wouldn't be in this mess if both her mother and father would of taught her right. sorry dina but if linds dies young you have no one to blame but yourself!

Have you ever even been to Long Island? Just because these two idiots settled on Long Island and decided to raise their seriously dysfuntional family on Long Island, does not make everyone else who lives there Lohan clones. Grow up.
That tough love judge may have been trying to save Lindsey's life . . . something that her own mother doesn't seem to care enough about to make it her No. 1 priority!!!
After all, if Lindsey took a long break from show business . . . the 'gravy train' and the non-stop flow of MONEY would slow down and directly affect Dina!!!

Just like I said, the mom is crazy. A poor example to her daughter. It's all about living vicariously through her daughter, and her money. Bad publicity is bad for Lindsay's career, which is bad for Dina. Stop being a money grubbing hooch mama Lohan, and start being a mother to your daughter. And if that means grounding her at 24, then so be it. Both beeches need to grow up.

The Worst Mother of the Year award should definitely go to Dina Lohan. I hope for Lindsays sake her rehabilitation stint this time wakes her up to the fact that her so called loving mother is not. Dina took a young, vibrant and talented girl and made her into a alcoholic, drug taking mess that ruined her career. This woman is a disgrace to the word motherhood, and her youngest child should be removed from her clutches before she ruins her too!!!

I think they both failed miserably as parents. She had no structure in the home while she was growing up. What they ended up with was a spoiled, and out of control brat and I'm being polite.Children need that structure to learn what is socially acceptable. Teens watch Lohan and think because her parents do not correct her behavior that it will seem to them that it is OK

The family is pathetic. She hails from my hometown, and I've read nothing good about them all those years ago. Just look at the parents and all they've tried to do is hang on to Lindsey's coat tails of money money and more money. They got it, and now want more, and they don't care what it does to their child. Both are very sick parents and the sad part is something serious will happen and that would be the total shame of it all.

I agree with you father, but my suggestion is this, take the money power away from your mother, and if you have any money dealings with you dad, do the same.....You'll find out quick where their heart is with you then.....The one that stays and want to get things right with you wins....
