Dr. Frank Ryan, 50, a Beverly Hills plastic surgeon known for his Heidi Montag makeover and work on stars like Gene Simmons, Vince Neil, Adrianne Curry and Shauna Sand, was killed in a car accident yesterday afternoon. TMZ reports that Ryan's jeep went off the side of the Pacific Coast Highway, smashing onto some rocks. "Lifeguards initially tried to help Ryan, to no avail," TMZ writes. Ryan was trapped in the vehicle with major head injuries; he died at the scene.
Before the accident, Ryan had been hiking near Malibu with his Border Collie, Jill, and shared a photo on Twitter.
New reports claim the plastic surgeon was sending text messages right before the fatal crash. Celebrity publicist Charmaine Blake told PEOPLE that Ryan's family was told by investigators that the Tweeting caused the wreck on Monday. The California Highway Patrol confirms Ryan was texting before the crash, but investigators have not officially determined the cause of the accident.

I'm sure Mel Gibson is thinking the same thing about you! Time you grow up.
That was very low and inhumane!! May god keep you close.
God had nothing to do with his dying.........
I met him a couple of times, and I am very saddened by such a loss of a Wonderful Spirit!

Ryan shot to fame because he was a brilliant surgeon. People waited for months before they could get an appointment. He seemed like such a nice guy and had an incredible life. What sad news. It seems the as--oles crash in Malibu and live without a scratch and good people are taken.

Now that he has died, will patients no longer be subject to looking like freaks after their surgeries?

Just goes to show that life is short. Get a nose job, before it's too late!

He butchered a confused young girl for profit, as do most plastic surgeons, and probably all dentists. We've got to put a stop to doctors over-treating patients, this is the sickest thing going on today. Make all dental work universal coverage, take away the incentive for the dentist to "drill em, fill em, bill em." Bar plastic surgeons from doing this!

Frank Ryan, I'm thrilled to hear that you are dead. In life you were a money hungry immoral skunk who destroyed many lives. In death you will be remembered as the low life you were on earth.

what hateful thing to say,may he,s soul rest in peace, god forgives everyone, frank ryan
If a humand being rejoices about the death of another human being that makes him a dirt bag. Shame on you.
I can't believe what I'm reading about someone dying. I just had a dear friend who was hit headon and died. She was 72yrs old and I don't believe it was her time to go. You all should ask God to forgive some of the statements on here.

All the patients who had plastic surgery came to him. He did not force anyone. It was their choice. These hate filled posts are a reflection of how miserble your life must be. My the man rest in peace.

Was he wearing a seat belt? Granted, it may not have helped much, but just curious. Although I didn't follow his career, it seems like a sad irony that he most likely suffered some serious head and facial disfigurements himself from the accident scenario in the article, and he was a plastic surgeon. At least he didn't suffer much, but he was still young. I tend to disagree with plastic surgery for purely vanity measures, and believe that inner beauty is definitely more appealing than cosmetic. To each their own. However, I feel sorry for his dog, too. RIP.

I thought the same thing !
I am not at all surprised that Mr Fishburn has decided on tough love with his daughter...I would do the same thing...she is looking for a short cut, but real talent will show and this stunt shows his daughter has no back bone, and who knows, maybe no talent...but I will never know. and is unwilling to do it the old fashion way, hard work... I don't think she thought it through very well...is only interested in big bucks and fast. Instead she should be worried about learning the craft and that takes time for most preformers. My Dad worked at it all his like and wasn't bad, but never made much money at it... every once in a while I get a tiny residual now that he is gone. It shouldn't be about the money, but the art you are driven to do.
