Five months after filming the video for 'Window Seat,' Erykah Badu has paid a $500 fine and will serve six months of probation for stripping during the music video shoot in Dallas. In March, Badu performed a walking striptease for her 'Window Seat' music video at Dealey Plaza, where President John F. Kennedy was fatally shot in 1963. The video ends with a nude Badu falling to the ground as if she has been shot.
Police in April cited her for disorderly conduct after a witness made a sworn complaint. A number of children were among the tourists and other random passers-by seen in the video.

Art my azz, It was ehibitionism. Ordinarily id say 'who gives a chit' BUT there were children present. If this was a man he'd be charged with indecent exposure etc etc

She can strip for me any time. I'm sure perverted John John would have loved it.

She did this in public, children were present. If this had been a man, he would be up on child endangerment and listed as a child predator.

This is fine, fine, fine, woman!

It was in bad taste she probably couldn't pick Kennedy out of a line up. Just shows how skanky and disrespectful she is must have been raised in a tribe.

So much attention to one lady trying to make a buck. I wonder if the families and friends of those killed today in Afganistan and Iraq are reading this, or if they even care. Why do we care?

It's not about her artistic statement. She chose to walk nude in public and shoot a video without a permit. When you choose to ask forgivness instead of permission, you have to take the consequences.

Why we wear cloth is Adam & Eve sined and new it was wrong covered them selfs & we are all sinners we all need to be dressed. And it is not art at all they just want to call it art so they wear nothing. Maybe I can't spell but you know what I mean.

Who cares! She shouldn't have shown off her body in the first place. And besides it's Erykah Badu who only about twenty five percent of people in our nation listen to.

Art is a very subjective thing. Forcing your artistic talent or lack of on unsuspecting children is very sad. Children have rights and their rights take precedence over the artist(?). Their is nothing wrong with being naked. There is something wrong when someone forces those views on others who may not agree (especially unsuspecting children). I find Ms. Badu's attempt at art a definite violation on the rights of those children and their parents. I am sure JFK would have loved for his children/grandchildren to view such a spectacle. It just shows how much she doesn't care about children and the rights of others. While I may applaud your effort to be artistic, I condemn your violation of the rights of others. Shame on you Ms. Badu....

America is having a bad case of attention deficit syndrome, those who have talent needs more attention to fuel their egos, those with half talent needs attention to find acceptance and most with no talent have the need for all kinds of attention so people can look at them -- Shock theory.... Erykah Baduh is not that talented, so she used the same tactics that half talented or non talented people used for years to attract attention, tabloid seekers like: Gaga, Madonna, Simpson, Kardashian, Beck, Rodman, Stein, Limbaugh, hannerty etc.... and the majority of their followers are children who knows no better, that is just as detrimental to society.....

Sorry, Erykah. I fail to see the correlation between JFK's politics and you displaying your hairy p*##y to a bunch of children in a park.

Margie get out of this discussion , this is for grown ups only....
Only in America is every one so up tight about the human body. A little nudity in Europe is not a problem. Maybe for the muslin where they want every bit of the women covered up. But as far as kids are concerned, kids don't worry about the nude body. They think nothing about getting out of the bath tube and running around the house nude. Many a parent has had to chase them because they were cleaning up the bath room and the kid got going. So it seems that so many people get up set when they think a kid will see a nude body.
When I was little 10 or 12 I took swimming lessions at the YMCA which were held in the High school swimming pool. In that pool male except for a few mixed sex swimming went nude. We all went swimming in the nude,no big thing.
So what is the big thing about being nude?

I saw the video and she was a skanky looking ape. Nothing at all like the picture of her wearing that hat and wig at the behinning of this story.

Stripping and nakedness should be kept in Lesbian Bondage Clubs with Republican Eagles gatherings where it belongs!
