Why are they making it 2? I understand that it would be a very long movie, but...still. It doesn't matter about suspence, because most of the people going to see it knows what happens, so my question is...Why Keep Them Waiting?

Because if you'd read the book, the book has a lot of detail that is extremely essential and crucial to the storyline and therefore cannot be excluded. I really don't think it is for the suspense. However, I'm sure there are business reasons like the release dates for example. The films would make more money and have a longer run in theaters during peak seasons. In the end, I just think Warner Bro's move was made due to the story details and marketing reasons.
All other reasons aside, no deatils, no keeping "true" to the novel.
It's easy and it's simple...it's called money.
2 movies means double the money. Period.
Harry Potter is quickly losing its audience. Too long in between books and movies. Two part finale is okay if the movie would be too long, but Nov and Jul? Nov and Feb, maybe.

ARE U NUTS THE AUDIENCE GETS BIGGER EVERY DAY
I tend to agree. It's not losing any audience...one just needs to have stood in line for the final book's debut to realize that. This is about money and if the audience was dwindling at all, they would have cut their losses and did away with the franchise with one final movie. The simple fact they split the final book into 2 movies simply shows they KNOW for a fact that each will gross much more than any previous Potter movie. That tells me they think the audience will be there.
Dang it. I thought they were new. But most of these were in the last Entertainment Weekly.

After the fat kid,(Doyal),ate the laced, floating muffin,in Potter 2. Then got caught,in real life, with a trunkload of marijuana,I became a big Harry PotHead fan. When someone creates a,mind blowing, story of films like the Potters',one can only imagine reality, within this fantasy. I found myself longing for the next Potter film to happen. Do Harry Potter, not drugs.
