Throughout the ages women saved themselves the pointless heartache of hopelessly trying to reign in their men and expected them to see other women on the side. They didn't take it as an insult, or a betrayal, because they knew that "cheating" was a function of necessity rather than of "love" and didn't take personal offense. Then came the dawn of Christianity, and adultery was equated as a "sin" on par with murder and robbery, and what have you. Add today's ultra-feminist mentality into the mix and you've got a recipe for disaster. Women who remain stubborn about "cheating" are only setting themselves up for disappointment. And men who don't cheat, or at least haven't been caught yet, either are very good at repressing their natural urges and conforming to societal standards, or are very sneaky SOBs.
