The UCLA doctors overseeing Lindsay Lohan's rehabilitation have recommended to Judge Elden Fox that the actress spend no more than 30 days at the treatment center, RadarOnline.com reports. Lohan was court ordered to complete a 90-day program after her release from jail earlier this month. She is currently in day 17. The recommendation was one of several discussion points during a meeting Wednesday between Lohan's lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley and district attorney Danette Meyers. The meeting took place in Judge Fox's chambers.
The next hearing to discuss the star's treatment is scheduled for August 25.
Lohan's legal woes began in June 2007, when she was taken into custody for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession. Just a month earlier, she was arrested on another DUI charge.

She got in all this trouble regarding th FIRST DUI and cocaine charges and vilating probation on those!!! I see not one thing about what she is to get for the SECOND offense. I think it's all getting washed under the carpet.
She needs to go back to jail again for the second DUI after 90 days in rehab, and this time have the boook thrown at her! She is a habitual offender!!!

Yes, because 30 days is really enough time to break a cocaine problem. Sure. I'll believe that when I see it.
It doesn't matter that she's famous- she needs help, even if it takes away from her time. She should recognize that, buck up, and stay the full 60 days.

if a non famous person got arrested for cocaine and dui can they expect the same treatment. Were is the sentence for the cocaine?

You can not be helped until you want it. Here's hoping she wants it. With such nutty parents they won't be a help when she gets out. I hope they all just go the hell away.

Is this a joke? She's well????????? I say let her out to drink and drug and lesbian around, and give the slot to someone who will be receptive to working on their addiction. What I don't understand is why she is still considered a celebrity, and salvageable. She is neither.

This woman will never be cured with all these idiots saying she only needs 30 days to kick the habit of the kind of drugs she has been abusing. That doctor should lose his license and be brought up on charges of impersonating a doctor. She will never get right as long as her mother, father and these so-called doctors are kept away from her for atleast a year. I never thought that I would feel sorry for this bimbo but after watching her so-called parents and these quacks, I do feel sorry for her but I don't condone her actions because she is an adult but those idiots that surround her need to be jailed.

I doubt a 90-day rehabilitation program will do the trick. Lindsey probably knows what is best for her, but probably doesn't have the skills to do it. While there are many options, she obviously needs ongoing support. Since she has the cash, she could easily hire a life coach, who has professional training/experience to live with her for 90-days and help her devolop some effective coping skills. This is true for many people, not just the rich and famous. It's pathetic to use her as a journalistic platform.

Some of you represent the same over-indulgent standards that got this girl in trouble to start- possibly the next major star fatal crack up, but more important, a danger to others, with no apparent sense of right and wrong. The safety of others, even her own children, seem of no concern to this out of control child. 90 days in rehab would be nothing less than a start! What is good behavior from her- not driving drunk and drugged while locked up in jail? Releasing her from everything early because she is LL sends an awful message of a double standard to others.

They need to keep her the full 90 days. Love Lohan, but she really needs rehab, I feel so very sorry for her. She has great potential but she has to get her life under control.

Sadly, Ms. Lohan is not ready for recovery. She is dying to get out of treatment where she needs to be. You haven't heard the last of her relapes. She really doesn't get it yet. This is a terrible addiction that will need her decision to say NO NO NO and mean it .Until then ,until she gives her will over , she will suffer.

To quote everybody's favorite judge, Judge Mathis. Rehab is a multi-year endeavor. Perhaps one to six months "in house" treatment will orient someone to what is expected from them and get them headed in the right direction but it will take years of out-patient treatment and tests to totally rehabilitate them.

I find it really sad that there is so much publicity surrounding Lindsay and that people are so fascinated with her and her life when there is so much else going on in this world. She is a very messed-up individual and 30 days in Rehab are not going to cure her from her addictions. Thank God I am not a celebrity and constantly in the limelight.

MARK MY WORDS. HIS WELL BE IN TROUBLE AGAIN. SHE SHOULD SERVE ALL OF HER TIME IN JAIL AND REHA. SHE HAVE LEARN NOTHING ONLY THAT SHE CAN GET AWAY WITH ANYTHING BECAUSE SHE IS A STAR. JUST ANOTHER STAR GETTING THE STAR TREATMENT BY THE LAW.

My remark is for the judge. Do not let these doctors talk you out of the sentence you gave Lohan. When she gets out of there, you know very well, she will go right back to her old ways. Please give thought to the people that she may be guilty of injuring when she leaves there TOO SOON!

as she was growing up if her parents had taken more of an interest in her other than her money.she might have turned out differently. They wanted the fame that their daughter had

How much did it cost her this time? Money talks, and BS walks !

Let the girl serve her time. She has already been let out out jail early, now this. A regular person would not get this preferred type of treatment. She needs help, give her the help in a controlled environment.
