Teresa Giudice Blames Bravo for Financial Woes

Teresa Giudice and her husband Joe owe creditors nearly $11 million in various debts, and the 'Real Housewives of New Jersey' star blames her fame for why she's still bankrupt.

"If she wasn't on the show, this all would be much easier," a friend of Teresa's tells PopEater.

"Everything would be settled by now, but because she is now famous everyone is using the situation to get press for themselves and humiliate her and her family. It's honestly got to the point where she's not sure if she wants to come back for another season."

A few days ago, new evidence proved the couple went on a $60,000 shopping spree not long after they filed for bankruptcy.

Teresa and Joe bought $8,800 curtains and spent $45,000 on wall hangings, mirrors, frames, tables and chairs, while at the same time trying to convince a Newark federal bankruptcy judge to stop the August 22 auction of their personal belongings. Judge Morris Stern refused to stop the auction, but postponed it until Oct. 3.

"Teresa is sick of everyone knowing all her private financial business," an insider tells me. "She didn't sign up to be on 'Housewives' so that everyone could look into her bank account. Millions of couples go through what they are going through, except no one knows about it. It's just not fair."

If the woman would stop spending so much money, especially in front of a tv camera then the whole world would not know about it.

Theresa needs to grow up and face real life. She knew about the financial situation but wanted to show off. Her children need to be more disciplined also.

I hate to say it but those kids have the worse behavior and they are so loud and obnoxous to be so young. Plus they are not so attractive they need to get control of them before it's too late!!!

After seeing how Teresa and Joe were raised in the "old country" it explains everything. They are the equivalent of "poor white trash" in America who wins the lottery. They could have been on that HBO special all about lottery winners and what happens to them. Joe can't say "no" to her and she demands everything they can't afford. He drinks and wrecks cars and lies about drinking AFTER he crashed the vehicle (that has been repossessed). It's sad but the show has lost it. The Italy trip was the most boring stuff I've seen on TV in a very long time. It certainly made me appreciate Housewives of NYC and I hope that Bethanny goes back to that show. She's funny as hell.

Um, how does the headline relate to the article? Where in that article does it say Teresa blames Bravo for her debts? Some friend says that the show brings more attention to her bankruptcy, but there isn't anything in the article about Bravo causing her debt.

Thing is Teresa, once you're on a tv reality show you are fair game. Your trip to Italy was soooooooo boring and your girls were out of control. If you want privacy, quit the show. I know, I for one wouldn't miss you at all. And if they opt to take Danielle off the show as crazy as she is, that would be the end of the series. She makes the show with her nutty drama.

OMG - those outfits she made those children wear made them look like the winged monkeys from the Wizard of Oz. When those kids grow up and look back at these tapes - they will be pissed!!!

Millions of people work hard, 40+ hour weeks and never drive a brand new car. So EFF these idiots, she needs to live from a cardboard box for a week and see a real reality show.

Boo hoo! You reap what you sew! They are 11 MILLION DOLLARS IN DEBT! Who should be able to walk away from that without feeling the heat? Please...if it weren't for the show, her cookbook wouldn't even be selling. Ugh! I wish she would just stop wining!
