Janice Dickinson doesn't believe Tyra Banks' apology for a controversial new commercial for 'America's Next Top Model' that showcases an alarmingly thin, 6'2" model wannabe. Banks issued a statement saying the promo has been "misconstrued" because "it is just impossible for me to see everything that's created."But Dickinson isn't buying it. "[Ex]cuse me, but Tyra is the executive producer of that show," Dickinson told Access Hollywood. "She has her finger on everything. No, I don't believe it."
"It's her show. She's very controlling. She's the hardest working woman on that show. She has her finger on that pulse – trust me."

Janice is a mean heartless woman, who would believe anything she has to say. I don't know how she ever made it as a model.

And Tyra wouldn't do anything to promote her latest season, puh-leeze - fame ho's the lot of them. Top Model needs to get the axe, so does the Bachelor, Big Brother etc - too much the same old same old EVERY single season!
I tend to agree with Janice. She was always so brutally honest on the show. She always said the things everyone else was thinking, while Tyra tried to sugar coat everything. She also makes a good point Janice was on the show at the start.
I agree with Janice however, why is this news Janice is JEALOUS of Tyra

Tyra is just in her "skinny" mode of thinking since she's lost her weight. If she puts the weight back on she'll talk about how, at that time, she thought it was attractive to look like that.

Gotta agree with you. On her show, when she was big, big was beautiful. It was celebrated, blah, blah, blah. On Top Model, 1 yr she went the route of a season of shorty's. Not bashing the shorty's out there, I'm one myself. I just find Tyra to be as FAKE as that weave she wears. She's like Oprah. Whenever she needs to be "fill in the blank", she is. I especially like how they both tend to forget just how A.A. they really are!! That one gets me all the time!! LOL
I'm not a Janice fan at all but I've gotta agree with her!! She was with that show at the beginning and knows the in's and out's. Remember when the riot broke out during an audition? Tyra said the same thing! Thing is, it's HER SHOW and she should have known.. PERIOD!! Time for Tyra to take a long leave of absence from everything! Peace

We all know(hopefully) that Tyra's as fake as a booty pop behind. But, so is Janice! Brutal honesty doesn't make a person 'real'. It merely makes them honest, to a damaging affect. Only honest, when she can bring (any sort of) attention to herself. That goes for ALL "brutally honest" people. At least in Hollywood!
It astounds me that Tyra rightfully defended herself when the press was attacking her for putting on pounds. She look great then. She proceeded to take some drastic steps to slim down to seletal proportion which made her look like a freaky alien. So, she was all talk, she is as weak as the most vain model, and as sick as any anorexic. Her message to young women was not her words, but her behavior as she trimmed down to a vulgar walking dead look.

Jane, don't be discourged from posting because of what a few unhappy people have to say about the way your post reads. At the end of our life, we will be judged by what is in our hearts, and not the "book learning" that we demonstrated.

It's okay for Tyra to promote plus size models. So why not okay to promote a very tall very skinny girl. Some girls are built that way naturally, which is probably the case. Leave Tyra alone!

I saw the young lady in question. Her waist was very small... She didn't look sick, however... Just very thin...

Agree. I don't have a big appetite and am getting even more finicky as I hear about all the crap that winds up in food, and w/out trying wound up in the 80 lbs range several years ago. Then I got a dog that whines at me all day she wants to eat and drags me into the kitchen all the time. Now I'm about normal weight. It looks better but if it weren't for the dog, I'd be underweight.
Janice needs some guy with a hefty schlong to knock the dust off that thang. And she's lookin' good now that she got some of the other parts fixed.
