Is Jenny McCarthy's New Boyfriend a Facebook Jerk?
Pop-Ed: Maybe we're just calling this one like we see it, but
Jenny McCarthy's new man seems just a little bit jerky. We're basing this entirely on former fitness model Jason Toohey's
Facebook profile which was creepily still public even after his elevated social status hit the tabloids.
The first issue is Jason's concerning breach of social media dating ettiquette by rushing headlong into relationship-ville on the networking site. The couple has been together less than two months and not only has Jason changed his relationship status to "in a relationship," but he's already changed his profile pic to one of him and Jenny. We know married couples who took much longer to make that very important change in their lives.
Ok, so he's excited about dating a a really hot celebrity. That makes sense. We can go along with that, even if it makes him a bit of a crazed fan.
But then there's the little issue of his status updates.
Hollywood Life reported this week that a recent update read "Ok Im going to a costume party and Im supposed to be a God. Any suggestions? I already thought of going as myself."
That's just messed up!!
And let's talk about the underwear pictures. Yup, Jason likes to look at himself in some very very tiny briefs and apparently he likes everyone else to look at him too since they're all up on his page. Sure dude's got a nice 8-pack, but does the whole world need to see it? And does he need to flex and look sexily into the camera like that? Blech.
What's going on with Jenny? Is this her way of rebounding from her 5-year relationship with Jim Carrey? We certainly hope this guy isn't sticking around for good. Jim was funny. Jason is funny in a bad way and we're definitely laughing at him and not with him.
Jason finally made his profile private, probably a kind suggestion from Jenny's management.

You guys are freaks for judging someone based on this flimsy bit of info. Freaks & haters is what you all are. You know nothing, yet you make such judgements. Shame on you all.
