Catherine Bell welcomed a son over the weekend. The 'Army Wives' star gave birth to son Ronan on Aug. 21 in Charleston, South Carolina, PEOPLE reports.Ronan, who was born 19 and three-quarters inches long and weighed 7 lbs., 7 oz., is the actress's second child with husband Adam Beason. They also have a 7-year-old daughter, Gemma.
When Bell announced her pregnancy back in February, she remarked that Gemma was ready for a younger brother or sister. "She has been asking for a sibling for a long time. I'll be sure to remind her of that when it's time to change his diapers," she told PEOPLE at the time.

congrats to the happy family love their children's names though it's not unheard of for a mother to give one of her children her last name/maiden name as a middle name it's been done in Hollywood for nearly 50 years even academy award winner Patricia Neal may god rest her soul gave her youngest daughter Lucy her last name as a middle name when she was born August 4th 1965 after Pat had survived s series of nearly deadly crippling strokes while pregnant thankfully Catherine never had to go through that

Congrats 2 Catherine. I was crazy bout Lt Col Sarah McKenzie. Jag ended well when Harm and Mac got married after years of being in love and beating around each other. But, I was sad when Jag ended. Now I watch Army Wives with an older Catherine but just as stunning as she was in Jag. Glad her career and the careers of all the army wives is moving in the right direction
