It's time for some serious GTL, folks. 'Jersey Shore' star Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, who flashes his infamous washboard abs with wild abandon, is expected to earn more than $5 million this year, a source tells The Hollywood Reporter. "We are really excited about all the opportunities coming Mike's way," says Sorrentino's manager, Mike Petolino. "He has been able to secure many endorsement deals, business opportunities and additional television offers based on the success of the show. Our goal has always been to try to build a brand if the situation presented itself."
Earlier this year, the 'Shore' cast's contract negotiations held up production on the series. The cast initially asked the network for $30,000 per episode -- a 200% raise. The source confirmed that Sorrentino is earning close to $60,000 an episode, plus event appearance fees, which range from $15,000-$50,000.

Goblues ... what?!? You're the perfect example of the dumbing down of America. Absolutely inane babble that you just spit out. It makes no sense whatsoever.
If you want something more out of life than what you have right now, simply watching morons like this will only make you dumber.
Mozart makes you smarter. Jersey Shore sends you on your way to the end of the line for brains. Have fun with that. Losers.
We are messing with evolution here.People like this guy should not thrive. It used to be that you needed talent to get on tv.What the heck happened?

GO MIKE!! Beware of the 'financial advisors.' Keep track of your
money and save, save, save. Fame is fleeting and so is the money that goes with it. Best of luck..

Wow. I guess the only thing you need in this world today is a dumb message that speaks to all the dumb little tween sheep out there.
Parents of these little turds, congratulations. You must be so proud that you raised something so dumb that they follow these losers around.

i watched the 1st season, when it was a new show, now its tainted by douchebags, i think they are all average people who got lucky by someone's idea to create the show. and i dont even watch it anymore after finding out they werent even from Jersey. but after you have seen one episode you pretty much seen em all, i dont think any of the people have any talent at all, but thats just my opinion. i wish them all luck, but i really doubt they will advance in this tv realm. 5 years from now snooky would probably be a low paid call girl, and situation will probably be over weight advertising pizza hut or something..i dont even know who the other people are anymore on that show, owell only in America can people prosper from ignorance...

It is amazing that we equate fame with intellect. Why is some musclehead hawking health supplies? Be cause the 20 somethings that watch this show think he is smart. What next'Snookie' the next spokesperson for Harvard? If they would stop watching this show that only glorifies drinking, partying, staying up all night and fighting and screwing, this show would go away and so would the talantless cast.
