Miley Cyrus Ditches Good Girl Image in New Film

Miley Cyrus can't be tamed and is ditching her Hannah Montana-persona for an edgy new role in the upcoming film, 'LOL: Laughing Out Loud.' Hollywood Life has seen the script and reports that Cyrus' character loses her virginity, smokes pot, gets wasted and kisses two girlfriends on the lips. Her character even accidentally shows her mom Ana, played by actress Demi Moore, her Brazilian wax. "You're my daughter, and I won't let you turn into a porn star!" Ana tells Lola.

In an interview with MTV, Moore praised Cyrus' acting and professionalism.

"She's great, and I think that she is incredibly grounded," Moore said. "[Miley] is a true professional, and she truly has a wonderful family."

The film focuses on communication gap between Lola and her mother, due to the increasing use of YouTube, iTunes and Facebook. Lola's mom, Anne, "accidentally" reads her teenage daughter's racy journal and dicovers Lola's wild ways. The film will debut next year.

Well, I am sure this movie will make plenty of money, since besides all her teen fans there will be plenty of older pervs who want to see how much skin she shows off in this flick. I have conflicted ideas - on one hand, I am sad to see her use whatever influence she does have as a role model to portray such a character in anything other than a tragedy. OTOH, unless the plot of this movie is unexpectedly uplifting, this show the lie - with finality - to her pretensions of being a nice young christian girl who cares about family values and such.

It's okay to grow up. She can't play Hannah Montana forever. However, she doesn't have to grow up this way. Just looked at her new video, and this is not a way to thank all the kids who adored her and made her famous. She is defintely not a role model and these kids hopefully will not continue to support her and hopefully their parents will not allow them to watch her videos, movies nor buy her CD's, or whatever else she is involved in.

Whatever anybody says....Miley is still hot. I don't think that this will ruin her career, she's growing up. She is moving away from the fairy tale Hanna Montana into a more mature woman...this movie shouldn't put that much of a bad image on her. Life is a lot like how she's gonna portray it.
