Lindsay Lohan Released From Rehab Early

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman. The 'Mean Girls' star was released from her court-ordered rehab at UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday evening after only 22 days, RadarOnline.com reports. Lohan entered the facility on August 2 to serve her 90-day sentence as ordered by Judge Marsha Revel. But it seems circumstances have changed.

Earlier Tuesday, the starlet signed discharge papers and then departed the facility later in the day. According to reports, in an attempt to keep her release a secret, a decoy was created to help Lohan evade the media frenzy.

Judge Revel sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail and a 90-day inpatient rehabilitation program on July 6 for violating her probation in an old DUI case. She ended up serving only 14 days due to good behavior and overcrowding at the jail.

According to sources close to the case, doctors overseeing the actress saw no cause to keep her in rehab for the entirety of the 90 days she was sentenced to by Judge Revel, who has since recused herself from further proceedings related to Lohan.

Radar is also reporting that the very first thing Lohan did as a free woman was call her mother, Dina. Someone she probably won't be calling is her estranged father, Michael, who released an exclusive statement to PopEater on his daughter's release, but peppered it with a dig at his ex.

"God Bless Her. Lindsay has been through a lot and I give her a lot of credit," Michael Lohan told our Rob Shuter. "Hopefully, Dina will do the right thing and finally get on the same page as me because if we were, most of this wouldn't have happened in the first place."

Her legal woes began in May 2007 when she was arrested following a minor car accident and charged with DUI. Just two months later, she was taken into custody for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession.

Following her first DUI, Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving.

I agree Barbara. The saga continues and will continue until her license is revoked and she is no longer allowed to drive, her mom starts acting like a mom and tells her no, or she kills someone. It that had been one of regular folk, we would have been doing some serious time. She got preferential treatment. Shame she won't learn. Pray for her? Yeah, but let's hope she wises up before God seriously gets her attention and someone innocent is hurt.

Do we have to see her on all the networks and newspapers. She's done one movie, which appealed to young teenagers. Now she thinks she's entitled to do anthing she wants. Her Mother is a loser and she gave birth to a loser. Get this broad out of the Media. I wonder if she will actually deep throat a guy when she does the movie about Linda Lovelace. Shows how low she can go, when she stoops to doing a movie like this.

The only cute (not even good) movies she made was when she was little or a teen, since then she had nothing but bad movies. Any good producer don't want her, she stinks!!!!!!! I bet the first thing she did is after getting out of jail was getting drunk and use drugs!!!!

I feel sorry for this girl. They did her no favor by releasing her early. She needs help, at the VERY least, an INTENSE out-patient program. Hope to God she gets the help she desperately needs before there is another headline, a headline that could be a tragedy, where this girl loses her life to an overdose or hurts an innocent person in her path.

How long will she take before she does it all again? And when will the courts wake up and realize she really needs to pay her dues, instead of a slap on the wrist. I give her less than 3 months.

That was my first thought when I saw the headline. Lindsay's a disaster waiting to happen; it's only a matter of time, and I'm betting not much. She's a product of her environment, and when her environment is the Hollywood party scene where drugs and alcohol are everywhere, and she has an enabler mother, it sets her up for exactly what happened.

So, I still have no idea where she's actually going to get ANY help at all. We were told she would get treated like any other person. She got a light sentence where anyone else would have gotten the book thrown at them. She was a disrespectful brat the whole time and never got any additional time for it. Then she's released from jail early (earlier than everyone had predicted even!) and goes into rehab. Then she gets released early from rehab because the drs think that she's fine? Obviously she is NOT fine or she wouldn't keep doing the same stupid stunts. This girl needs help and everyone who should have helped all let her down. Now she's going to go out on the town again with her drinking buddy mom and I pray she doesn't drive drunk and kill someone. What is it going to take for these idiots to do something about someone like Lilo.
What does this teach anyone else who may have looked up to her? any of the young minds thinking about heading to Hollywood when they are older?
I don't see where she learns her lesson. And I think we have a real issue with the rehab people if they think someone as sick as Lilo is fine. This whole situation is just so sick. Its probably going to take her mowing down people before anyone will pick up the ball and put an end to the party. Until then, stay off the roads and sidewalks where she is. She has some catching up to do!
