Lindsay Lohan Released From Rehab Early

Lindsay Lohan is a free woman. The 'Mean Girls' star was released from her court-ordered rehab at UCLA Medical Center on Tuesday evening after only 22 days, RadarOnline.com reports. Lohan entered the facility on August 2 to serve her 90-day sentence as ordered by Judge Marsha Revel. But it seems circumstances have changed.

Earlier Tuesday, the starlet signed discharge papers and then departed the facility later in the day. According to reports, in an attempt to keep her release a secret, a decoy was created to help Lohan evade the media frenzy.

Judge Revel sentenced Lohan to 90 days in jail and a 90-day inpatient rehabilitation program on July 6 for violating her probation in an old DUI case. She ended up serving only 14 days due to good behavior and overcrowding at the jail.

According to sources close to the case, doctors overseeing the actress saw no cause to keep her in rehab for the entirety of the 90 days she was sentenced to by Judge Revel, who has since recused herself from further proceedings related to Lohan.

Radar is also reporting that the very first thing Lohan did as a free woman was call her mother, Dina. Someone she probably won't be calling is her estranged father, Michael, who released an exclusive statement to PopEater on his daughter's release, but peppered it with a dig at his ex.

"God Bless Her. Lindsay has been through a lot and I give her a lot of credit," Michael Lohan told our Rob Shuter. "Hopefully, Dina will do the right thing and finally get on the same page as me because if we were, most of this wouldn't have happened in the first place."

Her legal woes began in May 2007 when she was arrested following a minor car accident and charged with DUI. Just two months later, she was taken into custody for suspicion of drunk driving and cocaine possession.

Following her first DUI, Lohan spent 84 minutes in jail after pleading guilty to two misdemeanor counts of being under the influence of cocaine and no contest to two counts of driving with a blood-alcohol level above 0.08 percent and one count of reckless driving.

If you were my granddaughter, I would bring you here where we could spend time walking, listening to country music and sitting on the swing in the evenings. You could help feed the cats and the chickens; you need to sleep under a family quilt and eat home-cooked food .. you need to drink more water. Rob, tell Dina to save her breath. Nobody's interested in what she has to say. She and Michael are the WORST parents in history, and Dina is an enabler. It just NEVER ocured to her that her daughter might actually have a problem. Instead, she blames it all on the medias or somebody else.

And people wonder what is wrong with youth today? Not being held accountable for their actions! Here is another blatant example. Unfortunatley there are young people out there that idolize her. Now again the media will made this a grand event. We will have to hear every gory detail regarding this young lady, on every channel and every radio station. Just great. How about this time, we just give this story the attention it's really worth???? Nothing.

i wish her well also rob shuter, i just hope lindsay gets herself together. alot of young people goes down the wrong path at times they just need someone to help them and not people putting them down and verbal abusing them, not only lindsay but anyone that has drug or alcohol problems.

I have a daughter on drugs. She went thru rehab. She has plenty of support and encouragement from a family that loves her deeply. But she is still on the same road. She's is not as bad as Lindsey, but I worry about her lifestyle. I don't know which is harder, being an adict or being a parent of an adict. I don't know about Lindsay's relationship with her mother, but I know I love my daughter. She is my life. And sometimes I don't know what to do.

I feel sorry for this young actress. She should have not received special treatment. She needs to own up to her mistakes and take the consequences. I feel the people that keep helping her only do it, because she is their meal ticket. We have lost many stars this way.
I hope I am wrong but I am afraid for her.

i wish the best for her...i understand that maybe this isn't the best choice because she really does need help, but she's going through a hard time and when you're going through a hard time, people shouldn't just call you a "loser". she's a really talented actress and i hope she can get her act together and work out her problems.
