'Enter the Dragon' Actress Ahna Capri Dies of Car Crash Injuries

Ahna Capri, the beautiful Hungarian-born actress who appeared in TV classics such as 'Leave It to Beaver' and 'Branded' before scoring film roles in 'Piranha' and 'Enter the Dragon,' only to disappear from Hollywood a few years later, has died from injuries sustained in a car crash in Los Angeles. She was 65.
According to
reports, Capri was driving in North Hollywood on August 9 when her car was struck by a 5-ton truck. After being rushed to a local hospital, the actress was placed on life support but died August 19.
Capri was born Anna Marie Nanasi in Budapest, Hungary, but moved to the United States at a young age. By age 11, she was scoring roles on hit TV programs like 'The Danny Thomas Show' and 'Father Knows Best.'
The buxom actress continued to work steadily in TV and film throughout the 1960s on shows such as 'The Mod Squad,' 'I Spy, 'Ironside' and, later, 'Kojak.'
By the 1970s, she had changed her name to Ahna and starred as a wildlife photographer in 'Piranha' and a country singer in 'Payday.' In 1974, she landed the meaty role of Tania, the secretary of Han, in Bruce Lee's smash hit 'Enter the Dragon.'
She last worked in Hollywood in 1979 on an episode of 'Mrs. Columbo.'
Capri was never married and is survived by her sister, Rose.

Even with all that has happened, the fact remains that Tiger is
the father of her children. For her to publicly low-rate him would mean that she only low-rates herself. Good job Elin!!!

I RARELY say this about PopEater posts, but WHO CARES?! This woman hasn't worked since the late 70's and her role in Enter The Dragon is totally forgettable.

Can't you ever say anything positive about anyone on here, Nico? You're getting pretty scary.
Your role on PopEater is totally forgettable...and useless.
What's scary is people who take this crap seriously. You should go back to watching The View and shut up.
She was working. Taking care of the kids AND going to college. Do you have a college degree. Do not judge.
I meant "working" as in working as an actress you twit. Not that it's any of your business but I actually have a Masters.
I take it all back. I'm utterly DEVASTATED by the death of this total stranger; who nobody would have ever thought of again if it weren't for the unfortunate manner in which she died. Thanks to her minor role in a vastly overrated Kung-Fu flick, she will live in my heart always.
if she was black nobody would say a word!!!!!!!!

Yes, they certainly would. Believe me, they would.
I doubt it......the media would be tripping over each other saying what a great actress and person she was
for having broken the race barrier.
@jay You said it, not me. Even if Ahna Capri didn't leave that much of an impact, she probably had a richer, fuller life than any hater here.
Actually, Ahna's performance in the martial arts action film "Enter The Dragon" was first released in Hong Kong, July 26, 1973, 6 days after Bruce Lee died. The US release was the following Aug. 17th.

Tasha why bring the race card on this story? Or any story about someone dying. You are thinking about it, thats why. Hating, very sad life for sure. Let it go hon, everyone that has any brains has.
I remember seeing this woman many times in movies, and tv shows.
She was beautiful, and a good actress.
She and her sister are in my prayers.

Sure they do. But it's women like YOU who don't use a turn signal that think they can stop on a dime, while LOADED, while you're too busy talking on the phone to pay the f*** attention. You know what I just said is true.
