Lindsay Lohan Ordered to Undergo Psychotherapy and Random Drug Tests

A judge on Wednesday ordered Lindsay Lohan to undergo a rigorous outpatient rehab program that will require frequent counseling but will permit the actress to continue working.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox ordered the 'Mean Girls' star to undergo psychotherapy and addiction counseling sessions several times a week until November. He also ordered the 24-year-old to submit to random drug and alcohol testing at least twice a week and to continue living in the Los Angeles area.
Fox laid out the terms of the actress'
early release from an inpatient rehab center during a 10 minute hearing, which Lohan did not attend. The judge said he ordered the actress' release at 5 p.m. Tuesday.
The judge did give Lohan some incentives and rewards. He dismissed two drug counts that the actress had pleaded guilty to in 2007. He also said Lohan will be taken off supervised probation if she complies with his orders, passes all drug and alcohol tests and does not miss any of her counseling sessions.
Fox took over Lohan's case after another, Judge Marsha Revel, recused herself. A prosecutor had complained the judge met with defense attorneys and called rehabilitation programs without notifying her.
Revel ruled in July that Lohan violated her probation in the 2007 drug case by missing seven alcohol education classes since December. Lohan spent 14 days in jail and was immediately taken to an inpatient rehabilitation facility at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she had been ordered to remain for three months.
Fox said he based his modifications on the recommendations of Lohan's doctors and after reviewing three years of filings and medical records in the case.
Lohan's attorney, Shawn Chapman Holley, said the actress is eager to prove that she can comply with Fox's orders.
"She has changed," Holley said. "She's healthy. She's clear-headed. She is positive at looking forward."
Holley said Lohan would not attend a screening of her latest film project, "Machete," that is scheduled for Wednesday evening. But she said Lohan's treatment schedule will permit the actress to resume working.
"This was a good day for her in court," Holley said. "She has complied with everything that has been asked of her."
Prosecutors did not oppose any of the conditions Fox placed on the star.

get a life. you are obviously a very disturbed and unhappy person. you may need to look in to some rehab or counselin??? if it makes you feel better to put people down you may be projecting your own faults onto others or you may be a nasty human being? think about it.
Conservatives love to trash Lindsay and want her to fail.
Liberals wish her a speedy recovery and pray for her to heal.
The only skank here is your mother.
Why do conservatives hope and pray for Lindsay to fail?
barbibrntt - here's a thought for you. You berate someone for putting someone else down, and in the process you are putting *that* person down. Do you understand the irony?
Barbi: you are so brain dead, this skank (Lohan) is an addict, plain and simple. She will do what addicts do. She will either clean up, or die an addict. You talk as if you are offended, is it because you may be an addict as well?. Or are you really her as equally brain dead Mom?.Yup, I figured so. Have a nice dead beat life.
I Agree. Any other person would have been made to serve all 90 days of the sentence. Lohan is a PATHETIC POS that will be in the headlines AGAIN and I can hardly wait to see HER Crash and Burn. I am soooooooooo tired of watching these people that received numerous breaks SQUANDER them and then act like "Society Made Me Do It" or "I can't handle the fame, fortune and opportunities". For people that support HER and her drama filled antics- You are Just as Much a PART of the Problem. I personally can't wait to see her Go the Way of Anna Nicole Smith.........another TRAINWRECK!
"He dismissed two drug counts that the actress had pleaded guilty to in 2007."
A lot of people doing a long stretch for a single drug count would love to get a deal like this.
Wow, 22 days in rehab and she is a changed person!?! How can that be? Typically, people go to rehab for 30 days, which doesn't usually provide sufficient time to get over the addiction that put the person there in the first place.
Sorry, but in my humble opinion, this just goes to further show that money & notoriety move mountains and get people where they WANT to be rather than where they SHOULD be.
Lindsay has shown over & over again that she either doesn't want to change or can't change because she constantly skips out on the obviously sorely needed rehab! Once again, she tinks she won, but I'm afraid she really lost. Let's hope it won't be her life that she loses the next time she goes on a drinking/drug spree.
hell no its no surprise lololol
Miss Sweet you sound like miss nuts. Who did she hurt? Did she kill someone? The only person she is hurting is herself. Drugs can be crippling to a lot of people but staying behing bars doesn't prove crap. Give the girl a chance to prove herself before you spout off!

Why is Lindsay getting so much attention from the courts? I would say the average offender would of been fined and maybe
had to serve a few day in jail and do 6 month probation.

i agree
Why is Lindsay getting so much attention from the courts??? Yes the average person would have done some time and probably gotten about 6 months probation that is if it was a first offense.
This was not Lindsays first offense. 2 Drug charges alone in 2007. It should have been mandatory for her to do the full jail time and rehab time. However money talks. Do you really think 22 days in rehab has had an effect? Unfortunately I think she will miss a conseloring session or a drug test session. Then we will see what the courts decide to do.
Average drug addicted alky that was caught carrying illegal narcotics would serve way more time than she did. Plus, they would not get such a sweet deal. And since she privately settled two separate charges of grand larceny involvig stolen designer clothes stolen from a private home and a expensive fur coat stolen from a coatroom of a restaurant, she would have legally been decalred a "3" time loser and sent right to jail.
believe me, she needs a 90 day program

I guess you've been there and done that. Good for you if it helped you.
This woman has not been cured from anything. She is an alcoholic and drug addiction female. You have to wonder why the prescription drugs she was taken in the beginning was prescribed to her. I really do believe that she was taken some of them for weight loss. She knew exactly what to say in order to get the prescribed medications. It's just a matter of time she will be back in her same old saddle. This time I wonder who her parents will blame. Having a horrible childhood can not be blame on everything. This is a suppose to be a young lady. She need to be responsible for her action. What will it take? The death of "her" are "someone "family member" that she kills. It's funny how the system work. Others are sentence to a fair able of time in jail and she goes scot fr
