Bristol Palin 'Excited' for 'Dancing With the Stars' Gig

Bristol Palin is moving on from her recent breakup from Levi Johnston by hitting the dance floor. Sarah Palin's 19-year-old daughter has officially been cast on season 11 of 'Dancing With the Stars,' E! News is reporting and sources confirm to PopEater.

Although she has never danced before, Palin is looking forward to living in LA while the show tapes and is bringing her son, Tripp, with her, sources at ABC tell PopEater's Naughty But Nice Rob. Her proud mama plans to be sitting in the front row cheering her daughter on.

"Bristol is excited and scared and hopes she gets Maksim Chmerkovskiy as her partner," the source adds.

Last season, he and Erin Andrews turned up the heat on (and off) the dance floor -- but the brash dancer still hasn't taken a star to the top to win the mirror-ball trophy.

According to E! News, David Hasselhoff, Audrina Patridge, The Situation and Brandy have all been cast on the upcoming season, which premieres Sept. 20.

Oh geeze guys, you accept levi posing nude and smearing the Palin family but when lil Bristol gets a gig you throw your spears, rofl. Just get over it! She's done alot for unwed moms and teen pregnancy. At least she's trying to do positive stuff! She didn't ask for the gig, they came to her. I say go for it!!!

GARY,for you info she did ask to go on DWTS,read the news papers,and what the heck does she know about being a single mom,does she live in public housing,does she eat with food stamps,and is she on public aide,NO,she knows nothing about being a single mom,she well to do,lives well,eats well,kid dresses to the hilts.she has nannies,and guards,she a no one,as was kate,an a few more thats been on there,shes no star,and she should be staying home and raising her son,

What has she done for unwed mothers and teen pregnancy?????? She has glamorized it. Her situation is not reality. My daughter got pregnant right out of high school, she is trying to go to college, work full time and take care of her daughter with out any help from the "sperm donor". I doubt if she has to even take care of the baby let alone worry about paying bills, buying diapers, food, etc. I will not watch DWTS if she is on it. This is a joke.

Oh please....what is it precisely that she's done for unwed moms? Trying to do positive stuff? The most positive thing she could do is disappear & focus on raising that baby of her's. Her mother should heed the same advice.

Well if we all thought last season was bad with Kate Gosselin this will be the worst with a Palin!!!!
Consider something else to do with my Monday and Tuesday nights. Besides that how is Brandy going to rehearse someone filed yet another lawsuit on her. Looks like the worst season so far.

Can someone please explain to me why these people just can't relax, take care of their kids and stay home? Do you realize the amount of time this young women will be away from her baby? Oh yeah, she'll drag the kid to the show and somebody ELSE will watch him. Good job mom.

It's not really a choice between welfare or DWTS, hon. There's always gainful employment out there if the rich parents won't help.
