Bristol Palin 'Excited' for 'Dancing With the Stars' Gig

Bristol Palin is moving on from her recent breakup from Levi Johnston by hitting the dance floor. Sarah Palin's 19-year-old daughter has officially been cast on season 11 of 'Dancing With the Stars,' E! News is reporting and sources confirm to PopEater.

Although she has never danced before, Palin is looking forward to living in LA while the show tapes and is bringing her son, Tripp, with her, sources at ABC tell PopEater's Naughty But Nice Rob. Her proud mama plans to be sitting in the front row cheering her daughter on.

"Bristol is excited and scared and hopes she gets Maksim Chmerkovskiy as her partner," the source adds.

Last season, he and Erin Andrews turned up the heat on (and off) the dance floor -- but the brash dancer still hasn't taken a star to the top to win the mirror-ball trophy.

According to E! News, David Hasselhoff, Audrina Patridge, The Situation and Brandy have all been cast on the upcoming season, which premieres Sept. 20.

You have got to be kidding me. I am so tired of the Palins. Thanks John McCain for bringing this family into our lives. We didnt even know who they were before you just had to have her mother as your running mate. Well another season of DWTS that I will not be watching.

I don't have anything against Bristol, but this is ironic considering her stated reason for breaking off her engagement with Levi was his desire for the limelight. I don't watch DWTS anyway, so I won't be missing anything.

Another 15 minutes of fame for the Caribou Barbie family. Used to watch DWS on occasion but not now. How much lower will the TV networks sink for rating?

What is wrong with you people? If Bristol chose to abort her baby..no one would know and no one would be talking. How many other girls her age also find themselves in the same place.. some give the baby life w/out being in the limelight due to a well known parent..and others you never hear about because they chose to take that life.. the easy way out. I can't believe all the hatred toward someone who has done nothing to any of you!

She wants a life. Nineteen and a baby, I think she wants more in her life. I think it's a great idea. It's a good way to learn something that's fun, helps you get healthier and get disciplined and over all probably a great experience. Anything is better then being so down that you even consider going back to Tripps dad. I wish her all the best. Of course, any mother would be rooting her child on. More power to them all.

Oh, Puh-LEEZ! Bristol Palin is a "star" in what alternate universe??? What she really is, is a spoiled brat dependent of a brainless politician, who has borne a bastard child (sorry folks, but that's the "official" name for it), and milked her multiple breakups with the child's father for every drop of alligator-tears publicity she could get! That's it for "Dancing with the 'Stars'" for me. Tom Delay was just a bad accident, but this is a TRAVESTY. I'll never watch this sad little show again (are you listening, advertisers?)
