Serena Williams Stuns With New Look

A stunning Serena Williams attended the Hamptons Magazine Cover Party Wednesday night in a leopard print dress. The tennis star's fresh-faced new look ignited a flurry of speculation over whether she'd undergone a cosmetic procedure or was just the recipient of a good makeover.

The No. 1-ranked Williams recently withdrew from the U.S. Open to give herself time to recover from surgery to repair cuts on her right foot.

PEOPLE reported, "Williams was reportedly hurt by a broken glass at a restaurant while she was in Munich – shortly after winning her fourth Wimbledon singles title – last month and had surgery on July 15. "

Plastic surgery speculation aside, Williams is no stranger to the world of fashion. "When I get injured it's devastating because I know I won't be able to wear heels. I'm practically in tears," she told SoBeFit magazine earlier this month.

Beyonce is beautiful, Regina King is beautiful, Gabrielle Union is beautiful. I could go on and on naming beautiful black women. Serena Williams looks like Charlie Murphy in drag.

Well, as a black man even I get tired of everything having to be about race.

I think both Serena and Venus are attractive facially as well as physically. But I also understand that people have differing views. I get it that not everyone will find the same person attractive (or find virtue in the same president).

Race doesn't have to have anything to do with it.

You folks must be nuts! Serena is a bit more buff than most men would prefer, but Venus is totally feminine and, in this picture at least, Serena looks amazing. Augustus needs to get off the black soapbox and stop pretending that putting down a black person is racist. Obama is a fool just like Bush was (and I am a white republican so I can say it about both). This discussion is about Serena and she looks great!

She looks great. I admire them both for their achievements. It looks as though she has had some cosmetic surgery on her nose. It is nice and subtle. She looks great.

Can we please stop owning the word ugly?! There are butt ugly whites, asians, latinos, etc., with and without extensions. Venus and Serena are great tennis players (when they play, which is another topic in itself!), but they are not as attractive as some. It has nothing to do with race. I am a black female - not as cute as some and not as ugly as others... Same for Venus and Serena... and it has nothing to do with race, so lighten up. P.S. extensions were not made for black people, so stop owning those insults too!
