It's the end of an era for MacGruber. After eight seasons, Will Forte is leaving 'Saturday Night Live.' Forte's publicist, Lewis Kay, said Thursday that Forte is moving on from 'SNL' "to pursue other opportunities."Kay said Forte is "eternally grateful" to 'SNL' producer Lorne Michaels and to "all the incredible people he worked with over the years" for his successful run on the show.
Forte joined the cast in 2002 as a featured player. Shortly after, he was upgraded to regular cast member and took over the role of then-president George W. Bush when Will Ferrell left the show and was featured as a number of recurring characters, including the Falconer and MacGruber.

I think girls like Gia, who has a boyfriend, should not be allowed to take part in Bachelor Pad. It should be strictly for totally unattached people. She was giving totally mixed messages. I would hate to be her boyfriend, back home. Am I wrong?

Forte wasn't great but he wasn't bad. SNL is in one of its "lull" periods anyway. The present administration is ripe for the taking but the lefty cast treats him like he was Muhammed.
