Emmy host Jimmy Fallon teamed up with the cast of 'Glee' to kick off the 2010 Emmy Awards show in a pre-taped segment in which they go on hunt to find the ultimate glee team. Members of the cast of 'Glee' (Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Corey Monteith and Amber Riley) recruit everyone from Tina Fey, Jon Hamm and Joel McHale to perform Bruce Springsteen's 'Born to Run.' The stars even run into Kate Gosselin, who wore her infamous 'DWTS' costume, but the group declined to let her join their club. 'Mad Me' star Jon Hamm steals the opener though when he's caught getting sexy dance lessons from Betty White. Their chemistry is pretty hot. The 2010 Emmy Awards opener is too good for words, so just watch. >>

Shes there because theres a category for reality shows........she has a reality show. Now do you get it?.. She has to do something since her moronic ex husband cant seem to find a job and shes the sole support of her 8 kids. would you rather she be on welfare so YOU can pay for them like so many others do? So leave her alone shes not harming anyone and shes living and learning....more then i can say for you
i so agree with you she is not a star and no talent...if she really was a good mother she would take care of Her kids and not hire a nanny to do it...i bet she has enough money to support herself and her 8 kids.
Obviously she was there because she was asked to be there. Also - I think her dancing skills have improved. She was also there because she is the one parent those 8 kids have that is actually out earning a living.
I totally agree Kathy, Kate is as bad as Sarah Palin. They need to go home and take care of their kids!!!

Kate is awesome!
She will do anything to make money to support her children. Her husband doesn't contribute so she has to look for jobs that helps put food on the table and clothes on their backs. Try raising 8 children with little or no help from a husband and let's see what you are willing to do.

Give this woman a break, I don't like her myself but I have to give her props for making fun of herself.
The opening was not bad. Guess they were making fun of Kate kinda for their entertainment. Wished Jimmy did not host the show. His announcing of the presenters and categories was BAD, TERRIBLE and just LAME, LOVED Ricky Gervais was funny with the beer but made me winder if he has a drinking problem.

How can anyone say that Kate Goesslin is "supporting" her kids? You have to WORK, in order to support anyone. Since day one on the TLC show, she has been nothing but a self indulging piece of work. Open your eyes, and see the real Kate, and feel sorry for her kids. If she loved them so much, she wouldn't jump at every chance to ditch them.

I agree with lilly, Kate has to support her kids, because all that Jon can do is party and hope he finds a rich girl to leach off of. So stop bashing her and move on.
