2010 Emmy Opening Video: Kate Gosselin Shunned, Jon Hamm & Betty White Dance Dirty

Emmy host Jimmy Fallon teamed up with the cast of 'Glee' to kick off the 2010 Emmy Awards show in a pre-taped segment in which they go on hunt to find the ultimate glee team. Members of the cast of 'Glee' (Jane Lynch, Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Corey Monteith and Amber Riley) recruit everyone from Tina Fey, Jon Hamm and Joel McHale to perform Bruce Springsteen's 'Born to Run.' The stars even run into Kate Gosselin, who wore her infamous 'DWTS' costume, but the group declined to let her join their club. 'Mad Me' star Jon Hamm steals the opener though when he's caught getting sexy dance lessons from Betty White. Their chemistry is pretty hot. The 2010 Emmy Awards opener is too good for words, so just watch. >>

I give Kate credit for going along with the joke. Yes, she is a poor dancer, but as someone else pointed out, she was invited to participate and last I checked, this was not child abuse, neglect or any other negative description you want to give her. If you don't like her, just ignore her and go on with your lives. I'm sure you have (or should have) more important things to do than Kate bash. Now on to my more important things.

Yes, there is.. it's called the remote! Use it and leave Kate alone! There were plenty of other mothers there tonight... should they all have stayed home? I presume you've never used a babysitter and you are probably the world's best parent! Be benevolent! Us normal folks make mistakes, but we certainly are not entitled to judge others.

Not sure why everyone is so hard on Kate about being places without her kids and using a nanny...I would say probably well over half of the actresses and and actors there at the Emmy's have kids and use nannies...so what's the difference? I don't hear anyone condeming them..It should make no difference if you have 4 kids or 8 kids.

I love that she can make fun of herself. She wore that silly outfit so everyone would know she wasn't taking it seriously. Please! Give her a break. She was there because many people that aren't "haters" actually like her show and believe it or not, like her. At least she's not octo-mom leaving off other people. She's fun. Lighten up.

I enjoyed the Emmy's last night. Fallon did a good job tho I think the show dragged on a bit too long. As for Kate being there - since our society is addicted to non-celebs as well as real celebs, it's something we have to live with until the addiction ends. It eventually will as the cycle continually changes but it could be around a lot longer than those of us you don't like it would care for. I just ignore her as I do Sarah Palin - I use the mute button or change channels until they are off. And Ricky Gervais has a drinking problem?? Because of a joke about beer?? Give me a break - some people just don't get British humor.

Please tell me what talent Kim Kardashian or any of the Kardashians possess!! Same thing with Paris Hilton and Nicole Ritchie. I know they did the Simple Life but that was a BIG joke. They were "known" before that aired. This reality crap is just that -- CRAP!

Lighten up people. Kate was able to joke about herself and the skit was pretty good. If the Kardashian's can be called celebrities and people care about them, then anyone can be one in my book. Don't like the people, change the channel, that's what I do.
