Justin Bieber, Too Sick to Sing?

Girls flocking to Syracuse this weekend got devastating news today: Justin Bieber is postponing his concert at the New York State Fair -- originally set for 7 p.m. tonight -- until this Wednesday, according to TMZ. He's reportedly suffering throat trouble and simply too under the weather to sing. (No word on whether medical intervention involved reaching under his bangs to feel for a fever.)

Naturally, fans of the 16-year-old pop star are atwitter on Twitter, and their idol is trying to keep them in the loop.

Yesterday, Bieber tweeted: "Been super sick lately but u guys are carrying me. thank u for the love." He later added, "thanks 4 the kind wishes. Im tough. Im Canadian. Love yall."

Officials at the fair promise to honor all tickets for today's performance, according to the Long Island Press, when filling seats for the rescheduled concert on Wednesday. The Associated Press reports that Bieber made it to the stage last night to perform for fans in Newark, N.J.

Why are so many people down on this kid. He is young but has a good voice and a strong stage presence. He's every bit as good as some of the other young ones and better than some, mostly girls but so what.
