Laurence Fishburne and Kim Kardashian Keep Their Distance at Emmys

Is it any wonder that after 19-year-old Montana Fishburne announced that Kim Kardashian was the inspiration behind her decision to go into XXX acting, her famous father, Laurence Fishburne, avoided Kim at last night's Emmy Awards?

"Laurence wanted nothing to do with Kim," an insider tells me. "He didn't want to meet her, sit by her, and certainly was not going to have a picture taken with her."

In July, Montana said she hoped to make a name for herself with a sex tape being released by Vivid, citing socialite Kim as her inspiration.

"I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape," Montana said. "I'm hoping the same magic will work for me."

"Kim was just as shocked by the statement as anyone else," a friend of Kim's tells me. "She has worked so hard to get past the whole sex tape drama, and now thanks to Montana everyone is talking about it again. Kim wanted to see Laurence last night as much as he wanted to see her."

Happy to hear the feeling is mutual!

Kim Kardashian, why does anyone want to have anything to do with her. I do not get it. Why is this stupid woman a celebrity. Her father was an attorney for OJ, the worse criminal in the history of the USA. So that makes you famous. And she is so darn everywhere. Who cares about her and her stupid family? I have nothing against the Kardashians, but what Kim did, and the resulting "fame", is exactly what's wrong with "Hollywood" today...She is most famous for her sex tape, and she is walking the red carpet of award shows with the likes of Meryl Streep, Glenn Close, and many other actresses who have earned their right to be there through their great performances over the years....and there has to be some kind of sacrilege in that.

Find it sad that so many people blame Mr. Fishburne for his adult daughters choices. Good parents can have children that make stupid choices. You see it everyday. She is an adult. I dont recall hearing too much about her being so bad while she was growing up, so he must not be too bad of a role model for her.

The Kardashian skanks are a worthless lot. What have they ever done except have sex and flash their booties for the photographers? They were created by the gullible media which seems to be under the impression they are important and worthwile, which they are not. I try to avoid them, but they keep cropping up when I least expect them. The sooner they fade away the better.

I dont know why Lawerence Fishburne wants to get mad and avoid Kim Kardashian, because of a decision made by his daugther. Why do we always want to blame other for our own mistakes?
