Laurence Fishburne and Kim Kardashian Keep Their Distance at Emmys

Is it any wonder that after 19-year-old Montana Fishburne announced that Kim Kardashian was the inspiration behind her decision to go into XXX acting, her famous father, Laurence Fishburne, avoided Kim at last night's Emmy Awards?

"Laurence wanted nothing to do with Kim," an insider tells me. "He didn't want to meet her, sit by her, and certainly was not going to have a picture taken with her."

In July, Montana said she hoped to make a name for herself with a sex tape being released by Vivid, citing socialite Kim as her inspiration.

"I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape," Montana said. "I'm hoping the same magic will work for me."

"Kim was just as shocked by the statement as anyone else," a friend of Kim's tells me. "She has worked so hard to get past the whole sex tape drama, and now thanks to Montana everyone is talking about it again. Kim wanted to see Laurence last night as much as he wanted to see her."

Happy to hear the feeling is mutual!

I HAVE NOTHING AGAINST KIM ,BUT FOR LARRY FISHBURNE TO BLAME HER FOR HIS BAD PARENTING IS JUST WRONG .IF HE HAD BEEN A BETTER FATHER HIS DAUGTHER WOULD NOT BE LOOKING TO OTHERS FOR WAYS OF SUCCUESEDING.HAD HE TOLD HER THAT THE ONLY WAY TO BE SUCCUESFUL WAS BY BIENG HER SELF & NOT TRYING TO EMULATE SOMEONE ELSE. HE WOULD NOT HAVE A DAUGTHER THAT WANTS TO DO PORN TO FURTHER HER CARRER. SO I SAY TO LARRY IT'S NOT TO LATE.

Wow, I can't believe people are actually saying that Lawrence Fishburn should be blamed for his daughters actions! As parents, most of us try very hard to instill high values in our children. What road they choose once they get into the adult world is strictly on their own behalf! They understand what is considered from what they have been taught, right or wrong! The choice is strictly up to them, and no one should be blamed other then the decision maker, and what they deem to be right or wrong!

The Kardasian's are not on tv because of any talent Same with the Jersey Shore cast . It was an idea i'am sure hatched by Kims mother who saw a way of getting rich by exploiting her own family . Is that wrong ? I dont know . I dont believe Kim made a tape knowing it would get her famous . It ended up helping but thats because of stupid people who watch reality shows and have a need to get into other peoples lives rather than work on there own . The mom was smart and took advantage and put together a package to sell to people who know what to do with it . Montana is going to do a sex tape because she has pre thought it all through . It would seem her values are screwed up and her need for being famous are driving her . I would think her Dads stardom had to influence that need somehow .Kim didnt plan on being famous , it just happened . Montana on the otherhand is planning it and because of the attention she is getting , it seems to slowly be working . Any attention in her mind is good attention . Whose values are more screwed up ?

The Kardashians are famous because our country has a major shortage on truly talented people with good ethics and lives. Thus, we are left with the morally bankrupt as entertainment. It's sad. I am so ready for a good variety show with a host that is kind,and a family person who actually has talent and personality. A person that was raised with discipline and knows how to discipline themselves.

Mr.Fishburne is wrong to blame Kim for his daughter's choices. If she used Kim as an example to follow, that's not on Kim, that is on her. Mr. Fishburne is by no means my favorite actor, I don't like him at all and I don't think he is so lily white of all this either. OMG he would hate that term, "LILY WHITE", after all he is a huge racist. Wonder if it's not Kim so much as it's her color..She is Armeanean, not white Mr. Fishburne.

Let the sharks rip off your face, maybe then you will be bearable to look at. Hopefully they will rip off some limbs too so you can't run around sleeping with every other man you see.
