Bodyguards Follow Prince and Paris Jackson Around New School

Michael Jackson's two oldest children -- Prince Michael, 13, and Paris, 12 -- began their studies at a traditional school
last Wednesday -- their first experience outside of homeschooling. But before they could hit the books like "normal" kids, Prince and Paris had to first win over their skeptical grandmother, Katherine.
A family member close to the situation tells
PopEater that Paris and Prince's legal guardian protested the idea of sending the sheltered kids to school, feeling their father would have disapproved. However, one of Jermaine Jackson's sons stepped in and encouraged Katherine to allow Prince and Paris to move away from homeschooling.
The King of Pop's eldest children are attending The Buckley School in the San Fernando Valley and a parent at the school tells PopEater that things are anything but "normal" when the famous kids are there.
Both have full-time bodyguards, who patrol the school's parking lot and accompany the kids from class to class, to their lockers and even watch over them during lunch.
This kind of attention would seem to stifle their ability to fit in and make friends -- two things that are important to young Prince, who was seeking a "social experience"
by enrolling at the prestigious school. Sources tell us the Jackson's are the only students at the exclusive school with a full-time security detail.
"The bodyguard situation really is a bit intimidating to other kids," one parent, who has four kids at the school, tells PopEater. "And that makes them hesitant to approach Prince and Paris."
TMZ was first to report that the kids were attending school.
Some in the Jackson family are also upset with this situation because they firmly believe sending the kids to school is not something Michael would have wanted. He famously protected his children from the public, and now various family members believe they are vulnerable and exposed to the outside world.
"This is a huge change for both of them," a family source tells PopEater.
The entire family agreed Jackson's youngest child, Blanket, who at 8 years old is reportedly the shyest of the three, is not ready and will stay at home with private tutors.

This story is contrary from what was reported in the news a couple months ago. In that other story, Katherine Jackson encourage the kids to go off to school. She wanted the exposed to other children. What is this? Like the old Russian News source Provda? What is the correct story?

Information about "movie stars" is not NEWS...it is gossip. And you know what "they" say about gossip.
No I don't think Michael would approve and why listen to Jermaine's kids, weren't they the ones with the stun gun? smh Poor kids.

Don't know why the gaurds are necessary at school. Dropping the them off and picking them up is fine, however such treatment can only lead to negative reaction from others thus causing great turmoil for Paris and Prince.
Shame on the Jacksons for allowing such a disruptive situation for the other students at the school. The children can be watched over by the bodyguards in an unobtrustive manner. Not allowing Michael's children to join the mainstream will mean many psychological problems in the future. Let them live and learn!

They are making these child more dysfunctional with the bodyguards and the parents of the other children will get annoyed sooner or later,
Just perhaps, the fact that Michael "wouldn't have wanted" the
children to go to a public school is the very reason they SHOULD go.
Time for the dysfunction to end.

I hate to burst your bubble,.......but "dysfunction" and "public schools" are mirror images of each other, no matter how prestigious the school may be. These kids will be better off staying OUT of the limelight........Look what it did to their father!
Stop being stupid, you act like everything he did was dysfunctional and yet you never lived with him. He kept them sheltered to keep them from morons like you making such posts...
Amen
Michael wanted his children homeschooled and his wishes should be honored. All of the unnecessary attention being placed on these children will most likely cause negative effects because "normal" is not what they will be experiencing. I don't think these kids will be safe even in this prestigious school. They'll have a better chance of a "social experience" in a school in another country. Americans are never going to leave this family alone. Bottom-feeders will be the first to strike, bodyguards or no bodyguards. Katherine, PLEASE reconsider your decision IMMEDIATELY!.......RIP Michael Jackson - Gone Too Soon!

Stuck up kids who are pretending to be Jackson's real children. So what else is new?

Are you being serious right now. What kind of hateful stupidity is this? Did the kids choose the bodyguards? Did they choose to be born with MJ as their father? Whether they are biologically his or not does not matter, they are his children and he is their and how would you know if they are stuck up? Moron.
Yeah I was wondering...they are not even is biological kids, right?? did'nt the dermatologist produce the sperm??
And for the record, the guy could not sing. He did'nt even have a serious voice. He was no Nat King Cole!! he had some real catchy songs but 95% of their appeal lay in the studio arrangement, not his vocals. Any one could have sung Thriller.
annie..... You should be ashamed of your remarks. But hey, if you have proof, by all means share it. I didn't think so. Now go climb back under your rock where you belong. Jealousy is an ugly emotion!
Would seem Taraterm's mental illness has taken turn for worst. Caught up with annie's sickness. Thinks can beat Thriller. LMFAO!!!
I see we're all getting busy telling other people how to live. There's nothing wrong with home-schooling, folks, people all over this country are home-schooling their kids with great results. That doesn't mean they're not socialized. Michael's children were being socialized, only not in the public eye.
If nothing else, Paris and Prince are vulnerable because of their inheritance. Let us not forget that one of the reasons Michael put veils on them in public was because Debbie Rowe was afraid they might get kidnapped. Apparently there had been threats. Actually, they had more privacy with the veils on than with the veils off. The children of famous people often have bodyguards, for obvious reasons. First and foremost, let us make sure Prince, Paris and Blanket will always be safe. I, for one, am looking forward to watching them unfold into their adult selves. All three are delightful. I wish them the best.
