Velvet Revolver guitarist and former Guns N' Roses shredder Slash is filing for divorce from Perla Ferrar, his wife since 2001. The couple has two boys, 6 and 8 years old.Slash, whose real name is Saul Hudson, will seek joint custody, TMZ reports. Sources close to the pair tell TMZ "the breakup is extremely acrimonious."
Slash and Perla's date of separation is listed as July 15, 2010. There was no prenuptial agree and Slash is reportedly willing to pay spousal support.

I am not a fan of this guy but I feel it is preumptiuos of you to call somebody else an ugly goon....just because you don't like what is happening to them...it's sad that they aren't staying married but it's their life and from the article, it doesn't seem to be a bitter separation.

Yes, eventually we all get the chance to sell off our vintage guitars. After being divorced 13 years, I couldn't imagine being married again. It's kinda nice getting to be the one who tells me what to do.

I met Slash two years ago at the Indy 500. He's pretty much a regular guy when he's off stage and you would have no idea he's a famous rock legend.

I met Slash in Auburn Hills MI in 2000 and he and I talked about music for 2 hours. Great guy - very nice, reserved, and approachable. Had a couple of brews with him and they guys from the Sankepit project.
