Curves Rule: More Girls Want to Look Like Christina Hendricks Than Kate Moss

Lots of men would tell that they wish that 'Mad Men' star Christina Hendricks ran the show in their office. And apparently lots of women would tell you that they wish they were Hendricks.

The UK edition of Cosmopolitan magazine claims that young women would rather look like the breakout 'Mad Men' star than iconic waif Kate Moss. Need a Kleenex, Kate?

"Joan [Harris, Hendricks' character] has had a huge impact on fashion and on women having the confidence to flaunt their curves," editor Louise Court told the Radio Times.

"This year loads of girls want to look like Christina Hendricks, not Kate Moss."

Hendricks -- currently starring in London Fog's new campaign -- has also recently been praised by Britain's Equalities Minister Lynne Featherstone for setting a great body-image example with her hourglass figure. The voluptuous actress has become a pin-up thanks to her role as the 'Mad Men' office manager.

But don't beat yourself up, Kate -- at least the fellas want your body. According to a (very specific) new study, Moss has the perfect waist-to-hip ratio for attracting men. Feel better?

Meanwhile, check out Hendricks flaunting her curves in a lilac Zac Posen dress at the Emmys on Sunday night where her 'Mad Men' took home the Emmy for Best TV Drama.

Ewwww are you serious?? I work in a large office and I just took a quick poll on this out of my own curiosity. Most of my co-workers leave at 4:30 and I'm here at the phone till 6 so I polled them on their way past my desk as they were leaving. The results: Out of 18 women, only ONE picked Christina. And NONE of the 15 men preferred her. I have noticed that Cosmo always has a lot of ridiculous, unbelievable "surveys".

It is well known to psychologists that women are rarely if ever satisifed with their own bodies. They are also the only ones who think the "stick" look is preferable, I think. There is certainly nothing appealing about knobby knees, pipestem arms and hat-rack shoulder blades, at least not to me. The only reason I can fathom the wish to look like an escapee from starvation is the desire to be acceptable to OTHER women. It certainly is NOT appealing to men, at least not to this man.

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head jerry. Women will say they would prefer the curvy body so they don't seem vain or unhealthy. Then they go home and weep over the five pounds they "need" to lose or some other perceived imperfection.

What?!?!? Men actually like women who look like women and not like anorexic twelve-year-old boys? What a concept! I gotta admit, I agree with the majority. A healthy, curvy figure is a much more attainable goal for most women, and most guys I know really like the VAVOOM factor! Of course Kate Moss is an attractive woman in her way, I just prefer Christina.

I think both types of body can be attractive. If I had to pick one type of body to sleep with forever (and I have) I'd go with curvy every time. I personally don't find Hendricks to be attractive at all. It looks like she's torturing those poor boobs and her face and hair are kinda' fugly.

How is Christina's body more realistic? She has gigantic boobs. Last time I checked, the average woman does not have breasts that big. So now that you guys have co-signed that Hendricks has the 'real' and 'healthy' body, women should now go getting breast implants to look like her right? Nonsense.
