Jack Osbourne Shows Ozzy in a New Light With 'Life Won't Wait' Video

The set of Ozzy Osbourne's music video for 'Life Won't Wait' -- off his latest album, 'Scream' -- was quite the family affair. Jack Osbourne took the reigns as the vid's director and decided to show the Prince of Darkness in a whole new light.

"It's moving away from the traditional Ozzy goth video ... It's a lot brighter and lighter than people are use to seeing," Jack admits in an exclusive behind-the-scenes video.

The video rides on the ballad's haunting and vulnerable message, which Jack drives home in a series of flashbacks of people's lives at crossroads.

"I was in the studio when Ozzy recorded the song, and it just jumped out to me. It's a really beautiful song," he adds. Watch the behind-the-scenes footage. >>

The father-son team had quite a lot of laughs and hugs while on set, and Ozzy couldn't be happier with the final product.

"When Jack takes something on, whatever the situation is, he'll see it to the end," the Black Sabbath singer gushingly mumbles.

This isn't the first time Jack has stepped behind the camera. He is also producing 'Wreckage of My Past: The Story of Ozzy Osbourne,' an intimate documentary that explores Ozzy's rise to fame and all the baggage that came along with it. The film will be released later this year.

I really liked it a lot! Great song and great video! Too bad we'll never see it on Mtv since they never play videos anymore on Mtv which by the way stands for MUSIC television. Did the producers of that channel forget that? They'd rather play pathetic reality shows all day long. It should be called Rtv now. But, I guess where thats where they money is. I miss the old days of Mtv. Anwyay, really enjoyed the song and video.

I just never liked Ozzy Osborn.

wake up and smell the coffee, Ozzy dosent mean anything sacralage about the group or his music, early on he realilzed thats what sells and thats the reason he choose darkness for his genre.

I liked the song a lot. And I always have liked Ozzy.
Hes son seems to have matured, and he did a great job making this video.
The only people who trash Ozzy dont know his ways, if they did, they wouldnt be trashing the man. Hes a nice man, who would help others. Unlike so many other people, who feel the need to talk badly about someone else, to 'try' to make their selves, look, and feel better. It never works though.

I've never ever been a fan of Mr. Osbourne's, but this video is a great eye opener for our kids of today, as well as some older people as well. I just hope they take time to listen to the message,as the song says,"Time Wouldn't Wait for You". I ought to know I still feel like a 25 year old person trapped inside a 70 year old body.
God bless you Ozzie, for trying to wake up the generation of today as well as tommorrow.
