Julia Roberts Always a Pretty Woman When It Comes to Bikinis

Julia Roberts continues to appear ageless, especially when she hits the beach.

After showing off her toned gams in short-shorts at the NYC premiere of 'Eat Pray Love' earlier this month, the 42-year-old actress was spotted making a splash in Hawaii on Aug. 29 in a halter-neck bikini. Roberts was taking a break from the aggressive promotion of her summer film.

If the Lancôme pitchwoman gained any weight while filming the story of a writer who has a four-month love affair with Italian food, her turquoise two-piece, featuring a boho pattern in hot pink, orange and green, certainly didn't show it.

Enjoying the surf and sand with hubby Danny Moder, the 'Pretty Woman' flaunted a flawless figure that shows no hint of gelato, pizza ... or having three children.

Roberts' 'Eat Pray Love' has performed below expectations, taking in just over $60 million since opening on Aug. 13. The movie, based on Elizabeth Gilbert's chick-lit phenomenon, was expected to be a domestic hit in the vein of 'Julie and Julia.'

Maybe I'm the only person on the planet that thinks this way, but I simply do not see the beauty in this woman. "Pretty Woman" was the worst cast movie in history!

The casting of Pretty Woman was perfect, the story on the other hand is awful. I haven´t seen it for years because I can´t accept the ending. She´s changed and wants more out of life... and ends up with a man who #1 buys the services of a prostitute #2 sees her as a prostitute even in the end of the movie and #3 will keep her in that position.

I don't think so. That movie kind of reminded me of a modern day Cinderella meets Prince Charming. I loved it & the casting was perfect!!!

Oh please... I know it´s a movie, I still think it´s a crap story. Why would I see a romantic movie where I don´t want the couple to end up together? The whole point of movies is that you should be able to enjoy them, which in this case I can´t. I´m sure that you have similar movie preferences.

Yes I totally agree!! I always thought she had a horsey look ...and what is attractive about this pic? Gangly shapeless legs. Once upon a time I thought she was a good actress, but not so much anymore. I had no interest in seeing her movie; and apparently most of the world agrees with me.

i agree with you totally. she's also a terrible person from all the stories i've heard. i have several friends who've worked on sets with her (some actors you've heard of, but i won't name names-- but just so you know, she treats everyone badly... not just crew) and who say she's a gnarly b*tch. not to mention that she stole her husband from his wife and taunted the wife on national tv, for which she got sued and settled out of court, by the way, because that is actually illegal (strange, but true). why everyone thinks of her as america's sweetheart is beyond me. she's a horse-faced witch.

twodoc, you are not alone. I don't understand what the obession with the media is with this woman. She is way overrated and sheis not not an attractive 42 yr old has been either. On top of that she is a little nutty/neurotic from what I've gathered, so I really don't get it.
