Source: Sofia Vergara Could Be Florida's First Lady

Sofia Vergara's man, Nick Loeb, 35, may be interested in running for governor of Florida, the New York Post reports. Meaning the Emmy-nominated 'Modern Family' vixen from Colombia, 38, could stand to become the Sunshine State's first lady.

"This would make a hell of an encore, but don't expect Vergara to put her career on hold like Maria Shriver," said the Post's source, referring to Arnold Schwarzenegger's journalist wife.

Thus far, Loeb has run unsuccessfully for Florida senate and the Delray Beach city commission.

Though the New York Post seems to take the news seriously and notes Loeb's connection to Lehman Brothers, the Palm Beach Post's gossip site, Page 2 Live, seems wary of Loeb's seriousness as a political contender, calling him a "trust-funder who lost or quit every political race he entered."

Loeb was recently injured in a car crash in Bel Air, California, fracturing his pelvis and gashing his chest. He was sent to an intensive care unit and could not attend the Emmys with Vergara as a result.

The two shared their love for each other on Twitter in June, with Sofia writing, "@nick_loeb te amo," and Nick replying, "@SofiaVergara I love you too baby!!" They also vacationed in Italy in July.

What? She can't be a Florida's 'First Lady' unless she's married to the Governor. This man is not governor - he may run but then again he may not, and he is not married. So this is a non article. Just something to fill space.

I voted last week in our primaries and his name was no where to be found. So at the very least this is nothing but shoddy journalism.
